They both thought the marriage is to save them from their parents.
Nikitha is searching for the love and emotional support which is not given by jay properly,for an example,in previous episodes,when she searched for the emotional support,he just scolded her mindlessly,that kind of emotional support she is craving,she thought jay is self centric and selfish about his needs.so she searching that love outside,after her mother demise,maybe she needs the constant emotional support,love.
Jay thought his fucking is his love language.any woman accept that,only whores will do fucking for money without love.
Don’t degrade her character,she is searching for the true love,maybe future she may realize the love of jai.
As of  now, she can choose anybody she wants.
She still not open her legs for tharun,she is carefully weighing him,so don’t rush to conclusion.

He had a point. In the opening scenes of office, i would have mentioned, Nikki is friendly and respect by many.. recent chapter would have a contrast view from Sharmi.. 

Reason is what she is see is not real, what she believed to be real is not real. What she think issue is not a issue. It will take a lot chapters for her to understand. 

By now you can guess easily! From what sharmi says, the entire floor had different opinion of her, as she is eyeing Jay. which is why he was hard on her.. When a readers could not grab this, Nikki who is directly involved would only see the Hurt he gets from Jay, but not why he did that, he must have said but that's was the issue he just would have thought Nikki would know and understand. 


Right now she is desperate, deperate to prove, she is right, desperate to prove she is moving, she desperately wanted to experience the love she needed, she had senses but its not working thats why the inner voice keep telling her, she is rushing things.  When Nikki could not listen to the voice, a character Sharmi, passing sense into her.. which will make her slow down the process. But the damage she had already done by making entry easy for Tharun is shaking her now.
