Author left lot of bread scrums for us to pick and figure out, At least based on story so far without taking any future predictions into consideration, I can confidently say Nikitha is already in love with Jay for a very long time, just did not realize it yet. We have given direct context on how Jay is feeling and he proposed his love already. Whether Nikitha believes it or not doesn't matter, we know Jay loves her now...at least we have seen him grow close to her recently. Nikitha thinks its only insecurity and possessiveness and from her perspective it is true as she always thought if she pursues relationship outside their marriage she thought Jay would understand and adjust as she did in case of Anjali. As he is behaving irrationally she is now mad at him as she thinks he is not fair to her as she was to him. Only thing she did not realize is that arrangement was when both of them were just friends with benefits. When in love seeing lover with another person is very painful, she is not realizing that she is not just taking revenge or pursing new experiences by trying to seek love or that thrill of being wanted with Tharun but also breaking Jay slowly piece by piece and pushing him away.

Nikitha though as projected here as caring only as a friend, we have many instances all over 40 chapters where she was a wife to Jay not only on paper but in life as well. She gave her everything to this marriage as a wife should all these years and in doing so she herself committed to this marriage knowingly or unknowingly. When some one does that there is no going back, she will miss her home, her marriage, her constant care she takes of Jay, her constant worry about him all the time...all these feelings are not just care, they are domestic, comes with proprietary over other person thinking he is mine...only difference here is she did not realize yet what she is sacrificing in falling for Tharun's charm. When that initial attraction, lust and attention dries out, she will see the clear skies with out fog where she would crave her caring for Jay, she would crave her grounded life where her role is a wife all these years. By that time she will push Jay as much as possible to the edge unknowingly by being in relationship with Tharun.

Both of them constantly worry about each other right from their breakfasts to their health and one realized his love for her and it would take time for her to realize it. All these years, Jay did not feel it nor added any efforts, its time he sacrifices his love for her so she could experience true relationship outside, like properly date, get attention and enjoy physical relationship that comes from young love. She has missed all those by marrying Jay in the process of escaping so she never got to enjoy any of these hence her cravings are genuine, Jay needs to understand this and give her space.

As for Tharun, Though author mentioned he did not want to make any one villain of the story wantedly, he still will end up one as his intentions were never noble. Whether he saw Jay with Anjali or not, whether this office every one openly flirts with others or not, doesn't give him rights to pursue a married lady being a manager himself, there itself his righteousness fails in the very first step. So him getting Nikitha at the end would be a serious flaw to the natural order.

Excellent story again and perfectly written emotional games between all 3 characters.

Yes i did'nt say it openly, i just make sure you take all hints. one of hints, which would shape future episodes is this "I fear i moved far from fixing it" last few chapters are glimpse of it.
