Part 149 – The Late-Night Guest

 

Pihu’s POV- Sometimes in life, we experience such shocks that make it almost impossible for us to recover from them at the time. We can't understand what's happening to us, or how something like this could happen to us. We don't even trust our own eyes. We don't know what to do in that moment, how to get out of this situation. Something similar happened to me when I saw that man with Uncle late at night. I recognized him immediately because I had seen him before. He was Piyush's father. Piyush, the same mischievous young ruckus boy who had scared and threatened Ankita, and whom I had taught a lesson with Ani's help. I knew that Piyush's father was the village headman. And I had only met him once, when I taught Piyush a lesson. But I still remembered his face and features. And that's why I recognized him the moment I saw him. Seeing me, he also looked up at me. But from his facial expression, I didn't think he recognized me. In a way, that was a good thing for me. If he had recognized me, it would have been difficult for me. And my secret would have been revealed to Uncle once again. Because, except for Ani, no one else in our house knew how I had taught Piyush a lesson. If they found out about this, they would also find out that I had not only sex with Piyush but also with two of his friends that day. And I didn't want anyone in my family, not just Uncle, to find out about this. So, it was a relief for me that Piyush's father didn't recognize me. Uncle also saw me coming because of the sound of my footsteps. And seeing me, he said, "Come, come, bouma (daughter-in-law). Look who's here. This is my friend Pratap. I felt that Uncle had made a huge mistake by telling about us to his friend. He shouldn't have done that. Now his friend also knew about all our antics, which could potentially lead to new troubles for us in the future, especially for me. And I absolutely didn't want that. But since Uncle had already told his friend everything about us, what could I do now? And it wasn't Uncle's fault either. He probably didn't know beforehand what his friend's son had done misdeeds with his future daughter-in-law. Perhaps Pratap hadn't told Uncle about his son's actions. That's why Uncle, trusting his friend, must have talked about us. Now no one could do anything about this matter. Not even me. It would be best for me to behave normally in front of Uncle and his friend Pratap. So that Uncle wouldn't suspect anything about me, and Pratap wouldn't recognize me either. My coming here at this time was a mistake. I shouldn't have come here. But now I couldn't do anything about it too. So I greeted Pratap and said, "Hello Uncle. My name is Pihu." Pratap then laughed and said, "So please don't call me Uncle. If possible, you can call me by my name. Just call me Pratap." Saying this, he moved a little closer and said, "You see, if we call each other by our names, it will bring us closer." Saying this, he looked into my eyes and smiled slightly. I didn't like the way he said that or the way he looked at me. I felt that he was indirectly trying to tell me something through this. But with uncle present, I couldn't say anything to him. Perhaps Uncle didn't understand either. So he said, "What do you mean?" This time Pratap laughed and said, "Hey, today is a special night in your life. And that too in my house. So am I just going to leave like this? Won't you even offer me a drink? Besides, I'm thirsty." He said the last part looking at me. I deliberately ignored him. I wanted him to leave as soon as possible. But looking at him, it didn't seem like he was going to leave anytime soon. Before I could say anything, Uncle spoke again, "Yes, yes, why not? I have a bottle." Now, I was forced to speak, "At this hour of the night, you're going to sit down and drink alcohol?" Before Uncle could say anything, Pratap said, "Yes, what's wrong with that? Where is it written that you can't drink alcohol at midnight? And besides, today is the most special night in my best friend's life. It deserves to be celebrated. Isn’t it? And there's only one way to celebrate it, let's have a drink." I said again, "Uncle, you've already had enough to drink. And there's no need to drink more..." Before I could finish my sentence, Pratap spoke again, "There is a need. That's how we friends celebrate. And one more drink won't hurt. It's getting late, I need to go home too. I'll have a drink with my friend and then leave from here.” Hearing him, I felt it was in my best interest to get him out of here quickly. And if I keep arguing with them unnecessarily, which he won't listen to or agree with anyway, it will only delay his departure. So I said, “Okay, you two sit down. I'll get everything ready.” Saying this, I went to the kitchen, took a bottle of liquor, glasses, ice, and some snacks on a tray, and brought them to them. Pratap said, “Thank you, Pihu. Go, now you go and sleep peacefully. We won't disturb you anymore. We'll both have one drink each, then I'll leave from here.” Uncle said, “Yes, bouma. You go and sleep. After Pratap leaves, I'll go to sleep too.” Without saying anything, I quietly left. I didn't see it, but call it a woman's intuition or something else, I felt that Pratap's eyes were on me as I left. Especially on my swaying ass.  A long sigh escaped my lips involuntarily. My situation is getting worse and worse day by day because of this wretched ass of mine.


After coming upstairs, my first thought was to go to sleep. But Pratap's behavior and words towards me had angered me, and I couldn't sleep. So I thought it would be better to go to the roof and spend some time in the fresh air. Maybe that would calm my mind and help me fall asleep quickly. With this thought, instead of going to my room, I went to the roof to walk around in the open air for a while. I thought that a short walk on the roof in the fresh air would calm my mind. But the exact opposite happened. All sorts of thoughts about Piyush and his father, Pratap, started swirling in my mind. There's no doubt that Uncle made a mistake by telling his friend about us. Now I couldn't understand whether Pratap would take advantage of this or not, especially with me. And considering his demeanor and his behavior and words towards me, I suspect he's the kind of man who will definitely try to take advantage of the situation at some point. And God forbid if that happens, how will I manage that situation? Thank God he didn't recognize me. If he had recognized me, my difficulties would have increased even more. But my situation is still not good. Although Pratap hasn't recognized me yet, he still knows that despite being his nephew's wife, I have such an illicit relationship with my own uncle-in-law, and that too, while hiding it from my family. And if my father-in-law finds out about this terrible secret, it won't be good for me. And my problems will increase even more. And can I trust Pratap in this matter? Maybe he didn't recognize me today, but what if he remembers me later and, to take revenge for his and his son's humiliation, tells my father-in-law about my and Uncle's actions? Just thinking about all this made me feel scared. I need to talk to Uncle about this as soon as possible. I have to warn him about my situation beforehand. That way, even if Pratap tries to do something wrong later, Uncle will be able to handle the situation. And I need to talk to Uncle about this right now. I can't wait any longer. But Pratap hasn't left yet. Almost half an hour has passed since I came to the roof, why hasn't he left yet? What is he doing for so long? He said he would leave after having just one drink. Does it really take someone this long to have one drink? Should I go downstairs and see what's going on? Or should I go to my room and sleep like a good girl? I'll talk to Uncle after he leaves. I don't understand anything. For a moment, I thought of calling Bijan and asking for his advice on this matter. Although he doesn't know everything, he might still be able to help me, understanding the seriousness of the situation. Even if I have to listen to his scolding for it, I will. When the mistake is mine, it's only natural to be scolded. But I don't have my phone with me right now. My phone is left in my room. My lips and throat went dry instantly. The answer was in his question. And I also got the answer to my own question from his question. This meant that Pratap had recognized me earlier. But he was just pretending not to recognize me in front of Uncle. But what was his motive? And why had he come to me so late at night, especially when Uncle was lying drunk downstairs? His behavior didn't suggest that his intentions were good at all. I said, "What are you saying? I don't understand anything. I'm meeting you for the first time today. So how can you recognize me from before?" This time too, Pratap looked me in the eyes and said, "A beautiful woman like you shouldn't lie like this, Pihu. You know very well that this isn't our first meeting. We've met before. About a year ago. When you insulted me and my son. Have you forgotten? Or should I remind you how you were having a good time with my son and his two friends that day?" Hearing his words, the ground truly slipped away from under my feet. Because until today, I thought that whatever happened between me, Piyush, and his friends that day was known only to us. Not to Piyush's father. But today I found out that he already knew everything. But this wasn't the time to be afraid. If I got scared, it could be bad for me. And the situation would slip away from my hand completely. And I can’t let happen this. So, I looked him straight in his eyes and said, "Are you trying to threaten me? Let me tell you, you won't gain anything from this. Because if you try any funny business with me right now, I'll file a legal complaint against you. And I'll have Ankita file a separate complaint against your son. You and your son will both end up grinding grain in jail. And as for my or my family's honor, it's best if you don't worry about that. I'll handle it myself." After saying this, I fell silent. And I promise that I will always keep my distance from your family, especially from you. If you agree, I will never bother you or your family again. You will never see my face again after today. That's my promise to you." I said, "What kind of nonsense is this! If I say no, will you force yourself on me?" Pratap said, "Absolutely not. I haven't come here to force myself on you. I want you to have sex with me tonight of your own free will. Just once. After that, I won't say anything to you. I'll quietly leave from here." I didn't like what he said. But what he said next truly made me think. Pratap said, "Think, Pihu, if I wanted to, I could have exposed you right in front of your uncle-in-law. I could have told him how my son took naked pictures of his daughter-in-law while her bathing. I could have also told him how you had sex with three young men to save that girl. After today, you will never bother me or my family again. And you will never mention this to Uncle either. Agreed?"
