Its interesting how the author didn't give details of the sex scene of the husband and wife.
Maybe because this chapter is not about the how of the sex but the why of it

That every life wants to reproduce is one of the basic laws of nature. Its not just a desire born out of sexual attraction but is very instinct of all the animals which includes the prime among the animals called MAN.

This is exactly what we see in the conversation between ரங்கநாதன் and குமார். The husband wants to explore the motivation of the old man and his request to impregnate சந்தியா. And what the old man reveals absolutely fits with the basic instinct of all lives thriving.

The conversation with the wife on the other hand is another proof of the love and understanding between the couple.  She agrees to being impregnated because that's what she thought the husband wanted. But the moment she realised the danger she had No problem backing out.

But my highest marks goes to ரங்கநாதன் among the 3. What an extraordinary gentleman he proves to be in spite of the sad and poor life that he's living now. He realises that what he got during the 24 hours was not a RIGHT but a PRIVILEGE. and like all privileges it comes with terms and conditions. Instead of complaining about the privilege being revoked it would be the wise thing to do just to enjoy it till it lasts. And if possible be grateful about the moments. ரங்கநாதன் has enjoyed every imaginable pleasure with a young homely beauty like சந்தியா. Its like dream come true. Yes he asked for something extra but was smart enough to understand the couple had no obligation to fulfil it. So he has no regrets and I respect him for that. A lot.

The cutest moment in this is when சந்தியா lowers her head in front of ரங்கநாதன். Its beautiful. After all he's the one who showed her the other side of sex even if it was just for 24 hours.
