The next day everything was normal except Raghav's behaviour and Sakshi's absence. Raghav spent most of the afternoon with Shrishti and other friends. Written by Maitri.

While everyone was busy working, Raghav was helping Shrishti but sometimes he would stop and keep looking at Shrishti while she was working. Sometimes their eyes would meet and Raghav would turn his eyes away as if he was not seeing anything and Shrishti would just smile.

This continued for the next few days. During these days Raghav also started having lunch with them. Whatever little doubt was left in Shrishti's mind vanished. With the doubt vanishing, Shrishti's way of looking at Raghav also changed. Now she would also look at Raghav once in a while, though not openly but avoiding everyone's gaze and whenever their eyes met, she would smile openly.

The clash of eyes and the peeking being done secretly does not mean that work is being avoided. Work is being done at the same pace.

Whatever was happening for the past few days was an unusual event in the beginning but now it has become normal. However, one incident of the past few days still remains unusual. The day Raghav told Sakshi about his intentions or should I say his deeds, Sakshi had not come to the office even for a single day since that day. Maitri's creature.

This thing was bothering Shrishti and other colleagues. And especially one employee. That is why today during lunch the same colleague raised that issue... Shrishti ma'am, Sakshi ma'am has not been coming to the office for the past few days. When asked, she says she is unwell and says that she cannot tell me the reason for her unwellness, maybe it is a lady's problem, but I think the truth is something else.

"Yes Shrishti ma'am, the day you were made the project head, Sakshi ma'am was behaving strangely. I think Sakshi ma'am did not like this and that is why she is not coming to the office." Another colleague said.

Shrishti; "I had also noticed it. But I think what you are saying is not the truth. It is also possible that Sakshi ma'am is not well and that is why she is not coming."

"Ma'am, we have been working with Sakshi ma'am for a long time. She has never taken such a long leave and if she has taken any, she has never taken more than two or three days. Then what happened suddenly that she has gone on such a long leave. I don't see any other reason except you becoming the project head." A colleague said.

The words of her colleague forced Shrishti to think. After discussing different facts, she took a decision in her mind and after finishing her lunch quickly, she reached Raghav. After some formalities, Shrishti said... Sir, you did not come to have lunch with us today.

"Meaning you did not have lunch today." Shrishti said, interrupting Raghav.

Raghav; "Oh no no, I have had lunch, I had ordered from outside, that's why I did not have lunch with all of you."

Shrishti; "What if I had ordered from outside, you could have come, I would not have snatched your lunch. Anyway, forget these things, I had come to talk to you about some important things."

Raghav; "So do it, when did I stop you and when will you stop this formality of 'aap'. I had told you, you will not use the address 'aap' for me."

Shrishti; "When everyone addresses you as 'aap', then what is wrong in me saying it."

Raghav; "I am very grateful to Shrishti because you are special to me (then she said in her mind) why don't you understand that you are so special to me that even after giving so many hints you are still a doffer."

Shrishti... "I don't know anything special. Like others I will also address you as 'aap'. If you feel bad then so be it. (then she said in her mind) Sir I know how special I am to you or I am something more than a worker. But I don't want to let this happen at all."

What do you know when I came to know that I am becoming something special, then first of all while taking bath I looked at myself in front of the mirror just to know whether I am so attractive that I can attract someone?? And this was the third time, the first time someone had teased me in college, the second time that bastard who had touched my buttocks in the mall, then his act forced me to look at my own buttocks and now because of you, sometimes that damn Samiksha teases me, well I also keep doing that in the same way but maybe this was something contrary to my thoughts, I saw myself completely after removing the towel and this was the first time and maybe I thought that I am attractive. }

Raghav... "you are not going to agree so address me the way you want but keep in mind that one day I will make you agree to my point."

Shrishti... "I will also see how you make me agree. Well, leave these things, listen to what I had come to say..."

Raghav... "yes, then tell me, I am also sitting here to listen." (Just say something sweet)

Shrishti smiled at this and then said... "Sir, I have decided that you should make Sakshi ma'am the head of this project."

"Okay? Can I know why you took this decision? Give me a valid reason." Raghav said smilingly.

Shrishti... "Sir, the reason is that ever since you made me the project head, Sakshi ma'am is on leave. So I think Sakshi ma'am did not like making me the project head."

Raghav... "It is not necessary that these are the reasons, there could be some other reasons as well. You are ill."

Shrishti... "Sir you know it very well that Sakshi Maam has never taken such a long leave, then what other reason can there be for taking such a long leave. I can see only this one reason which is in front of me."

Raghav... "Oh Shrishti you are as smart in matters of work as you are innocent in some other matters. Now look you yourself say that the truth is opposite to what is visible. In this matter also what is visible is not the truth. Now don't tell me that you know the truth because I am not going to tell this truth to anyone. And yes look I am here to do my business, if my work is being done properly then I don't care about anyone."

Shrishti... "Okay I don't want to know the truth but I don't like Sakshi Maam ignoring me like this." Created by Maitri.

Raghav... "Why that?"

Shrishti... “Sir, Sakshi mam has been working here for a long time and in the time I have worked with her, I have understood that Sakshi mam is very capable. I think she is even more capable than me, so her being with this project will be very beneficial for this project. And I am not saying this for me, but this is necessary for the benefit of our company, maybe you will find it right.”

“Okay, I will do something,” said Raghav smiling.

Shrishti... “Do whatever you want to do quickly, okay, I am leaving now.”

When Shrishti asked for permission to leave, Raghav stopped her and said... "Shrishti, are you free this Sunday?"

“Why are you asking?” she said in a tone of seeking information.

Raghav... "If you are free, can you go for lunch or evening tea this Sunday?"

Shrishti... "Um, so you want to take me on a date. Can I know why?"

Raghav… "maybe it is a date but you will know why I want to take you when you go."

Shrishti… "sorry sir I am not free at all this Sunday, what's more, I have to go somewhere with my mother and I may get late in returning, so I cannot promise you."

Raghav… "never mind, we will go some other time."

After this, Shrishti took leave and left and while leaving said to herself… Sir I know why you want to take me on a date but I do not want to have any other relationship with you other than that of a worker. Sorry sir I lied to you but what can I do, I am helpless.

After saying this to herself, she left wiping the tears that had welled up in the corner of her eyes. And here Raghav said to himself as soon as Shrishti left... Oh Shrishti, you are so different from Sakshi. If I had told this to Sakshi or anyone else, no matter how important the work was, she would have left everything and come with me. But you... are... such a....drifter... Oh Shrishti, when will you understand the feelings of my heart? How many times have I shown that I like you and maybe I have started loving you too.

After talking to myself, I smiled and then as soon as I remembered something, I called someone. Not once but many times, but I did not get any response. So I got tired and put down the mobile and got busy with my work.

About two more days had passed when Sakshi reached the office. Seeing her, all the colleagues including Shrishti started asking about her well-being and started asking the reason for not coming for so many days. She avoided it by telling the old story of her ill health. He also thought it better to accept what Sakshi said without asking too many questions.

As soon as he got to know about Raghav's arrival at the office, he told everyone that he was going to meet Raghav and left. After some formal talks, he placed a letter on Raghav's table.
