Adultery The Cheeky Chronicles Vol. 1 - The making of Mamakutti

Shadowed Solitude

As Meera slipped into the hostel room, the door sighing shut behind her, she found Anjali perched cross-legged on her bed, gaze lost in some distant haze, the vibrant fire that usually danced in her eyes softened to a muted, thoughtful glow that pulled gently at Meera’s heart. Yet the instant those keen eyes lifted and met hers, a radiant smile bloomed across Anjali’s face.

“Cheeks,” she called, voice laced with playful suspicion, “did you elope with the bison? You and Ravi both vanishing like that—tell me our girl finally opened the scoreboard.”

Meera laughed, light and easy, holding up her stained hands in mock surrender. “Nothing so dramatic, Anju. I went with Mama for a family function. No idea about Ravi. Look at all this henna—they insisted on spoiling their champion.”

Anjali’s gaze sharpened on the elaborate patterns, tracing the swirling vines with a fingertip. “Family function, hmm? This looks bridal, Cheeks. Swear your people didn’t sneak an engagement on you while you were away.”

Meera tilted her head, dimples deepening in affectionate denial. “As if I’d let something that huge happen without dragging my best friend into it. You’d be the first to know—and the first to help me celebrate… or escape.”

Anjali’s laugh rang out, warm and relieved, as she pulled Meera into a quick, fierce hug. “Don’t you dare keep secrets like that from me.”

They drew apart, and Meera’s gaze softened, catching the lingering trace of worry in Anjali’s eyes. “But you look pensive tonight—not the usual Anju who’d have me stripped bare by now, inspecting whether my pussy swallowed an anaconda whole.”

Anjali burst into laughter, the sound bright and unforced, tension melting from her shoulders. “Guilty. I have news, Cheeks, and I don’t know how to feel about it. Dad retired a couple months back—they surprised me by shifting here. I’m turning day scholar from tomorrow. Already cleared it with the warden.”

The words landed like a sudden weight in Meera’s chest, her smile faltering. “Anju… you can’t drop a bomb like that on me. I leave for one day, and everything changes?”

Anjali reached for Meera’s hand. Her fingers intertwined with a reassuring squeeze. “Hey, don’t look so heartbroken,” she said. “I’ll only head home for dinner. Shuttle practice stays sacred, untouched. Then I’ll slip straight back here, claim that massage I adore from your magic hands, and won’t leave until I’m utterly, blissfully relaxed. Promise. No abandoning my favorite girl.”

Meera managed a nod, warmth creeping back despite the ache. “You’d better. Every single day.” She paused, then added with a casual shrug that belied the deeper truth, “By the way, I ended things with the bison that night after the competition. He was falling too hard—commitments aren’t my thing right now.”

Anjali’s eyes lit with quiet approval, no judgment, only understanding. “Smart move. Never say yes until your heart’s one hundred percent in it. I support you completely.”

“Your support means everything,” Meera pulling her into another embrace. They packed Anjali’s things in a flurry of folded clothes and shared reminiscences. The next evening, with bags slung over her shoulder and a final hug, Anjali vanished down the corridor.

The week settled into a new rhythm. Evenings with Madan were spent in the server room—blindfold on, bodies lost in slow, mutual worship. She teased him relentlessly about the chain, stoking his ache until he came hard in her mouth. Later, Anjali would return. Meera would massage her tired muscles while they gossiped and shared stories. When Anjali finally left for home, Meera sank into deep, contented sleep.

In the empty room, Meera found a quiet gift. Hours stretched long for calls with her Mama.

Ravi remained absent in campus. Worry stirred in them both—until glimpses of his Instagram eased the fear. Photos appeared amid village groves, captioned with aching love-failure songs. It was proof he mourned in his own gentle way. Nothing darker.

That Saturday, the auditorium filled with students. Applause thundered as their triumphant dance played on the grand screen once more. Meera and the team stepped forward to accept the gleaming shield from the principal’s hands. Yet her gaze drifted instinctively to the missing partner beside her. A quiet pang echoed for the bison who should have shared the moment.
