What difference does it make whether actions remain uncertain or not?

Lokesh - He knows his wife is emotionally drifting away, knows Laila's presence is unsettling her, Knows that he has not yet revealed his conversations with Divya and also did not reveal if this is all plan of Karthik and possibly Divya...his suspicions were kept to himself. Above all he doesn't seem to be bothered like Shruthi at all that she is drfiting away..Maybe because we only read from Shruthi's pov we feel that she notices her place physically and emotionally is being displaced. What about Lokesh? I feel like atleast he has not taken a single step to get emotional connection back with Shruthi. He did not speak openly, he did not comfort her, he did not even hug her since the story began...he never shared her emotional burden since that night in Divya's house...Is he really husband? Its like he wanted Shruthi to drift away slowly and already looking for an alternative lol

Shruthi - She equally shares the burden of ruining her marriage...She thinks her loneliness warrants her freedom to get close to Karthik, she did not take single step to seek her husband's help nor she cared about her marriage enough to not play with fire which is Karthik. Knowing he is attracted to her she seeks solace in his presence. 10 years of marriage and comfort lost before few months of comfort and friendship, if it was lust then it is understood but its not lust..its comfort, understanding and peace from a new relationship, these are the qualities that not only make them end up in someone else's bed but in someone's heart as well. Shruthi doesn't care to change things knowing her husband is seeking emotional dependence elsewhere...

These two are the most aligned couple I have ever seen here who want to drift away from each other willingly lol
So whether they crossed the line or did not cross the line that night behind closed doors really do not matter...they have already crossed lines in their minds and they do not care...this story though unique is failing big time to invoke emotions for me as the bond between the couple is missing since the beginning.
