Adultery My Wife and Servant Gopal: Biosys version

The Waiting
--------------

The next day passed in agony. Every moment was weighted with anticipation and dread. She went to the office but couldn't concentrate on her work. She stared at spreadsheets without seeing them, answered emails with nonsense sentences she had to delete and rewrite.

Her body was alive in a way it had never been before..every nerve ending sensitive, every brush of fabric against her skin making her shiver with unwanted arousal.

At lunch, she went to the restroom and locked herself in a stall. She pulled out her phone and opened her notes app, her fingers trembling as she typed.
"Main usse aaj nahi milungi," she wrote. (I will not meet him today.)
"Main apne pati ko sab kuchh bata doongi. Main yeh sab rok dungi." (I will tell my husband everything. I will stop all this.)

She stared at the words until the screen went dark. Then she deleted them and typed something else.
"Woh aaj kya karega? Kya woh phir mere andar..." (What will he do today? Will he again inside me...)
She deleted that too, horrified by her own curiosity, by the part of her that wanted to know, that wanted to feel that fullness again even as her mind recoiled in terror.

She came home early. She told herself it was to avoid him, but she knew it was to be there when he came. She showered and stood naked in front of her wardrobe, paralyzed by indecision. She should wear something thick, something protective. She should wear armor.

Instead, she chose a cotton nightie, modest and plain, the kind that wouldn't invite his attention. She put on underwear, thick, white, and a bra beneath. She would be fully dressed. She would be respectable. She would be safe.

She sat on the edge of the bed and waited, hating herself for the anticipation coiling in her stomach.

When she heard the key in the lock..her husband leaving for his evening walk, she stopped breathing. She heard Gopal's footsteps in the hall, slow and deliberate, coming closer. She should run. She should scream. She should call the security officer.
Instead, she whispered to the empty room, "Aaj mat aana. Please, aaj mat aana." (Don't come today. Please, don't come today.)

The door opened. He stood there, silhouetted against the hallway light, and she saw his eyes travel over her, saw the hunger in them, the possession.
"Memsaab," he said softly. "Aaj main tumhe alag tareeke se chahunga." (Today I will want you differently.)

She didn't understand. She didn't want to understand. She stood up, her legs trembling, and backed away.

"Nahi," she said, her voice shaking. (No.) "Aaj nahi. Main tumhe paise dungi... jaane do mujhe..." (Not today. I'll give you money... let me go...)

He smiled, that patient, predatory smile..and locked the door behind him.
And she knew, with a sinking feeling in her stomach, that tonight would be worse than before. Tonight he would take something else from her, some last vestige of her dignity, and she would fight him with everything she had, and her body would betray her again, and she would lie in the aftermath calculating the cost of her survival while her soul fractured a little more.

"Main achhi patni hoon," she whispered as he walked toward her, the lie already dissolving on her tongue. (I am a good wife.)

But she didn't believe it anymore. And as he reached for her, as she opened her mouth to scream, she knew that this was her life now—fighting and losing and hating herself, over and over, until there was nothing left of the woman she had been.

The slow burn of Anu's destruction had only just begun.
