Chapter 142 - Morning Walk and Open Hearts
The morning sun was just beginning to warm the streets as Sneha and Suresh returned from their walk.
Sneha suddenly winced and slowed down, her hand pressing against her thigh.
“My leg is paining,” she complained, halting near a small stone bench under a tree.
Suresh stopped and sat beside her, looking concerned but with a hint of amusement in his eyes.
“Just a few more minutes and we’ll reach home,” he said gently.
“You can rest there.”
Sneha shook her head, stretching her leg carefully.
“No… my thigh line is really hurting. I need to rest for a bit.”
Suresh couldn’t resist.
A mischievous smile spread across his face.
“Why? it pains there?
Did he stretch you too much last night?”
Sneha’s eyes widened in mock anger.
She slapped his arm hard.
“Shut up!” she hissed, though a shy smile betrayed her.
Suresh laughed softly, rubbing the spot she hit.
After a moment of comfortable silence, Sneha turned to him, her expression becoming more serious.
“Are you seeing any women?”
she asked suddenly.
“Or… are you in a relationship with someone?”
Suresh was shocked! & Surprised.
“Why do you think so?”
Sneha looked at him earnestly.
“No husband in the world would do what you’re doing.
I don’t know whether I should be happy or suspicious.
What if you’re pushing me toward Gowtham so you can hook up with some bitch behind my back?”
Suresh laughed even louder, shaking his head in disbelief.
“Oh? So now you’re calling her a bitch?” he teased.
“You keep fucking Gowtham, but the moment I show even a little interest in fun, you call her a bitch?”
Sneha caught his shirt playfully, pretending to be angry.
“I got you! Who is she? Tell me!”
Suresh kept laughing, holding her hands gently.
“Unbelievable… Why are you so insecure?

Sneha still looked doubtful, but her expression softened into a playful pout.

He carried her for nearly five minutes, his face slowly turning red from the effort.
Finally, Sneha laughed and patted his chest.
“Drop me, drop me! I can walk now.”
He set her down gently, both of them laughing as they continued home, hand in hand, playfully teasing each other like the old days.
Meanwhile…
Gowtham received a call while he was still in bed, replaying the previous night.
It was Prakash.
“Come to the office,” his boss said.
“I’ve removed Rahul from all key positions.
A new HR will join soon.
I did it because he hid your resignation from me. We need you back.
