It would have make things clear that he is the one in command. He will decide. Although Gautam is the one making declaration. In reality it is Suresh, who is ALLOWING it. From now onwards things will be as per Suresh's mood. He was the one who had allowed it and he is the one who is letting it happen.

Again, I don't have problem with Sneha and Gautam having sex. The author has beautifully and in a detailed manner has explained why sex with Gautam is not going to stop. And I as a reader support his decision. But :-

(1) Why is Suresh is behaving like a beta in front of Gautam? Why he is running away from him? It looks like he is afraid of the ALFA BULL, the fucker of his wife and he can't breathe in same Air in presence of some real man?
(2) Why Sneha has to run behind her cucky husband into room? Why don't she ask Suresh at dining table? Like Suresh had already clarified that he don't have any problem with her having sex with Gautam. They why did she froze when Gautam said he need her tonight?

1. He is not behaving as beta, he is infact giving space for his wife to think it herself and relieving himself to his room as he was already going in when Gautham announced to Sneha.If he wants he can simply drag Gautham and throw him out of his house and there is nothing Gautham or Sneha can do about it. He knows he started it, he knows his wife is enjoying it so there is currently no reason for him to panic or behave irrationally.

2. She went to seek his permission, actually Sneha asking permission is aptly done. She needs his consent to go to his house. She froze because she wasn't expecting Gautham to seek her tonight after her rejection previous day. She didn't think he would ask for permission after so many days of defying Suresh's rules so she was surprised. At the same it shows that Gautham has a new plan.
