I think are making Gowtham a bigger Villain then he is. Yes he played a little trick but not that he forced Sneha and Suresh was completely against it. Its much more complex human emotion. Writer hasn't created Hate in mind of Sneha and from what looks like she has little mroe than physical need. She enjoys sex with him and there is a bit of emotion there, its not just raw sex. Everytime Suresh teased her about Gowtham she kind of not totally got offended. 
Plus Aditya will become a villan character (if he does) then Suresh might need help of Gowtham.
Story need not end perfectly with happy ending but like compromises in life it might remain complaex.what is acceptable to Suresh and Sneha will decide the ending of the story. It all depends how the character evolves in writes mind. 
I feel a more matured ending (whatever writer believes) will be better from the writer

Chapter 64 - Gowtham's POV onwards, his intentions of breaking the couple emotionally have been explicitly established numerous times till the last episode. It's nothing short of a sadistic nature. 

Suresh always wanted a controlled fantasy and he hated to be a cuck. He explicitly said that in the patching episode also.
