Story need not end perfectly with happy ending but like compromises in life it might remain complaex.what is acceptable to Suresh and Sneha will decide the ending of the story. It all depends how the character evolves in writes mind. 
I feel a more matured ending (whatever writer believes) will be better from the writer

Chapter 64 - Gowtham's POV onwards, his intentions of breaking the couple emotionally have been explicitly established numerous times till the last episode. It's nothing short of a sadistic nature. 

Suresh always wanted a controlled fantasy and he hated to be a cuck. He explicitly said that in the patching episode also.
