Chapter 129 - The Conflict and Weight of Choices
Suresh didn’t stay a second longer on the 12th floor. The moment the elevator doors closed behind him, he felt like he could finally breathe again — yet his chest was tighter than ever. His mind was a storm of rage, fear, and helplessness.
By the time he reached his car in the underground parking, one thought had crystallized:
He had to get out.
The drive home was torture. Aditya’s voice kept echoing in his head — crude, arrogant, and dripping with lust.
“Your wife… those heavy tits… that juicy ass… I want to fuck her badly.”
Suresh’s hands gripped the steering wheel until his knuckles turned white. The three deals kept flashing before his eyes like taunting neon signs.
Crore. + penthouse + Maybach. + luxury + beautiful women arranged for his own pleasure.
Any normal man would have been tempted. Hell, any normal man would have considered it seriously. But Suresh felt only disgust and a deep, sinking dread.
He was deeply conflicted. When he realize, just in the morning, Sneha announced about Gowtham asking her for sex and he allowed it.
He finally got the answer for it.. Deep down, he could somehow allow Sneha to sleep with Gowtham — for whatever reason, even if it hurt like hell. But he could never do the same with Aditya. Never.
He now realized Sneha had been right all along. Gowtham was someone they could still control — younger, manageable, someone they could eventually push out when the time came. He was a known devil.
But Aditya? He was something far more dangerous. He wouldn’t just sleep with Sneha — he would control her. He would control both of them.
Like Sneha had warned, Aditya wasn’t someone they could handle. The moment they let him in, he would own them completely.
That terrifying truth made Suresh want to detach from Aditya and the entire V-Activate Group right away, no matter the consequences.
One Gowtham is already killing me slowly… Aditya would finish us completely.
The helplessness choked him. He had just rejected offers that could change their lives forever. For what? Pride? Love? Fear?
He didn’t know anymore.
Tears of rage and frustration burned in his eyes, but he refused to let them fall. He wiped his face roughly and whispered to himself, voice breaking:
“I won’t lose her. Not to him. Never.”
When he reached home, he forced a calm mask over his face before stepping inside. Sneha looked surprised to see him back so early.
“You’re home already?” she asked warmly.
Suresh managed a tired smile. “I have the day off today… and probably the rest of the week. Let’s go shopping. Just you and me.”
Sneha’s face lit up with innocent happiness. For her, this was a rare, beautiful surprise. She quickly got ready, chatting excitedly about what she wanted to buy.
On the way to the mall, Suresh stayed mostly quiet. He held her hand while driving, but his mind was elsewhere — trapped in a loop of fear, insecurity, and helplessness. He didn’t tell her a single word about Aditya’s filthy offers or the terrifying proposals. He couldn’t burden her with that darkness. Not yet.
They spent the afternoon shopping, had a nice lunch, and watched an evening movie. For a few hours, Suresh tried desperately to be present — laughing at her jokes, teasing her about her choices, holding her hand in the theatre. But the shadow of Aditya’s words never left him.
Tonight she will sleep with Gowtham… while I rejected seventy-five crores and unlimited luxury to protect her.
The irony tasted bitter.
They returned home around 8 PM. Sneha quickly prepared a simple dinner — rice and rasam.
While she was cooking, Suresh sat on the sofa, staring blankly at the wall, still drowning in his thoughts.
After dinner, as they cleared the table, Sneha asked softly, almost hesitantly:
“Do i need to consider any rules for tonight… with him?”
Suresh looked at her. The question snapped him back to the present.
Tonight she would be with Gowtham again.
He wasn’t angry. He was just exhausted. Overwhelmed.
Defeated in a way he couldn’t explain.
He exhaled slowly and said in a quiet, tired voice:
“No rules. Just… if you can keep him under some control, and if you remember we have a family…
and just try to keep it only inside the guest room.”
Sneha nodded gently, not knowing the weight he was carrying.
At that exact moment, there was a knock on the door.
Both of them turned.
It was Gowtham.
