Chapter 96 - Morning Steps

Suresh tilted his head. “Why don’t I spend evenings with you?”
Sneha gave him a knowing look. “Ask yourself. Evenings anyway you are busy with your mobile and it is always about dinner. 

This is how we were earlier, right?” Suresh reasoned. 

“Yes,” she continued softly, “but we would spend some time talking in bed!! But these days you have reasons -  business and choose to stay away from me. And you are telling me you may take a month’s time to get done with meetings at night. 

This is my only way to pull you back… make you remember there is a wife for you.

Suresh looked at her directly. “It’s not a problem for me to stay near my wife when I’m busy in office meetings at night. However I already told you how it looks awkwardly, remember? That’s why I left the master bedroom for you both and I moved to the guest room!”

Sneha suddenly remembered Suresh’s earlier words: 'Do you want my clients to accidentally see my wife moaning like a slut? This room is better… Alone.'
Her face immediately turned pale. She bent slightly acting like adjusting her leggings to hide her emotions. She asked in a trembling voice, “So… should I join you now for morning walk or not?”

For a moment, Suresh felt guilty. No matter how much he denied it, he too was partly responsible for all this.
