Adultery Husband's Controlled Fantasy, Wife's Dilemma - Part I & II
Chapter 96 - Morning Steps

Suresh woke up at 5:20 AM, as usual. He quietly wore a simple t-shirt and track pants and stepped out of the guest room. Just as he closed the door behind him, he heard another soft click — Sneha’s room.

She stepped out wearing black leggings and a fitting top. She was tying her hair into a neat ponytail, looking fresh and determined. Before her door fully shut, Suresh caught a quick glimpse of Gowtham sleeping deeply on the bed, completely nude.

It didn’t bother him anymore.
But he was surprised to see her getting ready so early.

Sneha closed her door and smiled when she saw him. “Good morning.”
“Good morning,” Suresh replied, his voice still a little rough from sleep.
He asked casually, “Where are you going at this hour?”

Sneha turned the question back on him with a playful smile. “Where were you going at this hour, Sir?”
“As usual — for a walk, then a little jog and exercise.”

Sneha’s eyes lit up. Then i'm also!
“I’m joining you.”

Suresh raised an eyebrow. “What? Why all of a sudden?”

“Off late, I only get a few hours in the morning to spend time with you, and even then you disappear for 30-40 minutes for your routine. So I thought, why not join you?”

Suresh tilted his head. “Why don’t I spend evenings with you?”
Sneha gave him a knowing look. “Ask yourself. Evenings anyway you are busy with your mobile and it is always about dinner.

This is how we were earlier, right?” Suresh reasoned.

“Yes,” she continued softly, “but we would spend some time talking in bed!! But these days you have reasons -  business and choose to stay away from me. And you are telling me you may take a month’s time to get done with meetings at night.

This is my only way to pull you back… make you remember there is a wife for you.

She got closer to him and Hold his shirt and said no more question
I’m going with you... now.”

Suresh hesitated, studying her face for a moment.
“I don’t mind you joining, but I’m warning you — this won’t suit you. You may breathe heavily and won’t be able to keep up.”
Sneha smiled confidently. “Let me try. We used to do this together before. Remember?”

Sneha smiled, remembering their old days. “We used to go for walks together in the early mornings. We had so much fun chatting. Let me try again.”

After a moment, Suresh gave in with a small sigh. “Alright. But don’t complain later.”

They stepped out together into the cool morning air. The streets were still quiet, with only the faint sound of birds waking up. At first, Sneha kept pace easily, chatting about small things — Ramya’s college projects, the pleasant weather, random memories from their early marriage days. Suresh listened, occasionally replying with short comments, the conversation feeling surprisingly light.

But as they increased the speed into a light jog, Sneha started struggling. Her breathing grew heavier, her steps became uneven, and she eventually slowed down, hands on her hips, chest rising and falling rapidly.
Suresh glanced at her and couldn’t help but laugh. “Told you. Already tired?”

“Shut up,” she said, panting but smiling through it. “It’s been a long time since I did this.”
He slowed down to match her pace and offered his hand. “Come on, hold my hand. We’ll walk for a while.”

As she took his hand, Suresh suddenly remembered her energy while getting fucked by Gowtham. She gets so energetic and wild during sex, lasting for hours, but a simple morning walk and she’s already struggling.

The thought made him laugh uncontrollably, a short burst escaping before he could stop it.
Sneha looked at him curiously. “Why are you laughing?”
“Nothing,” he said, still smiling. “Just come.”

She took his hand, and they continued at a comfortable speed. The morning sun was just beginning to rise, painting the sky in soft orange and pink hues. For a few minutes, it almost felt like old times — light teasing, shared laughter, and comfortable silence between them.

At a small park nearby, they stopped for some light exercises. Suresh showed her simple stretches — touching toes, side bends, and gentle lunges. Sneha tried to follow but wobbled a bit on the lunges, nearly losing balance, which made Suresh laugh again.

“Your wardrobe isn’t suitable for morning walks and exercise,” he said, looking at her tight top and leggings. “You should get some proper fits — comfortable ones, specially made for walking and jogging. Breathable fabric, good support… you’ll feel much better.”

Sneha nodded, slightly embarrassed but secretly happy that he was noticing her like this. “I will,” she replied with a small smile. “But you need to take me shopping to buy new ones.”

Suresh gave a short laugh, but inside, he felt a strange mix of warmth and guilt. He saw a new side of her this morning — trying, determined, and genuinely wanting to spend time with him. For a brief moment, it almost felt like the old days.

She is unpredictable, he thought. The morning sight of her coming out of Gowtham’s room flashed in his mind again — fresh, glowing, tying her hair after spending the night with another man. Though he was lost in the moment with her now, the reminder hit him hard. I need to meet the lawyer today at any cost and find a solution.

Before he could dwell on it further, his phone buzzed. A message from Vinodhini Rakesh popped up:

Come early to the office. We have an emergency thing to figure out.

Suresh didnt respond, instead he quickly sent a message to Manohar, the lawyer:

Can we meet at the earliest today?
The reply came almost instantly: Yes.

Suresh stared at the screen for a second. He didn’t know it yet, but these two meetings today would completely change his perspective on everything he had been planning so far.
