Lol...you are right...and I also thought exactly the same about writer's thinking and waited for the whole long day! I mentioned it finally because, it will lead to unnecessary other dramatic turns, if he skips this simple and easy way.
However I also want to get this story concluded soon to avoid diluting and losing interest. Thanks for coinciding with my thoughts and hope this clarifies!
