It had reached the stage where if someone gave him space on the verandah to sleep, he would ask for the bed — that kind of greed had taken over.
This is human nature. We all think we are good people… until the right opportunity comes. Only then do we truly discover who we are.
When Ravi himself came and begged, “Sir, please satisfy my wife,” Velu had agreed to the plan and clearly told Ravi what he was going to do. At that time, Velu didn’t actually believe he could fully win Athi. That’s why he needed Ravi’s help.
But the moment Athi started yielding to him, Velu no longer wanted to inform Ravi about everything. He wanted to enjoy that pleasure with Athi alone.
However, the moment Ravi said “I don’t want this anymore,” Velu made up his mind — today I must fuck Athi no matter what. He didn’t know how this relationship would end, but right now, he simply couldn’t let go of Athi.

Today, Velu had finally taken her completely.
Yet Ravi still wondered — why did Velu tell him about it at all? He could have hidden everything.
All these nights when Athi cried, Ravi thought Velu was forcing or troubling her. But now he understood — she had been crying because of guilt after enjoying intense pleasure with Velu.
