The couple has one son: Sunil.
Let’s take a quick look at this couple.
Athi was a junior at the college where Ravi studied. All the other guys tried their best to win her over and proposed to her, but Athi never fell in love with anyone.
Everyone thought she would be out of their league, but it was Ravi whom Athi liked.
When Athi herself came forward and confessed her love, Ravi didn’t accept it immediately. Only after a few days did he agree.
All the guys in the college were burning with jealousy towards Ravi.
After finishing college, Ravi immediately joined a job. Two years later, once Athi completed her studies, Ravi got his parents’ approval and took her to see his family for marriage.
But at Athi’s house, there was huge opposition to this love marriage. Even though they belonged to the same caste, her parents refused because of financial status.
Ravi’s parents were uneducated. They struggled hard to educate him as much as they could. He studied well and got a decent job with a respectable salary.
Ravi’s father had worked in a factory and was now retired. His mother was a housewife.
On the other hand, Athi’s family was well-off. Her parents had two daughters and one son. Athi was the youngest.
Because of this issue, Ravi sought help from his friend Raghu.
Raghu’s uncle Velu was a good man and quite wealthy. He owned a large textile shop and was also involved in the modelling field, which was doing very well.
Velu had two sons, both married and settled abroad. His wife had passed away when the children were young. Even after that, he never remarried and never ran after other women. He raised his children well and built his business successfully.
He was 52 years old but had the physique of a 40-year-old man. A man of good character.
Raghu approached Velu for help on behalf of his friend. Velu inquired everything about Ravi and agreed to help.
When Athi’s parents refused, Velu boldly arranged and conducted the marriage for Ravi and Athi.
Athi’s family completely disowned her and cut all ties.
After conducting the wedding, Velu told them, “Don’t hesitate to ask for any help,” and left.
Eleven years have passed since then.
After the marriage, they had only seen Velu once or twice — at his sons’ weddings. He had never visited their home.
Athi, who got married at 22, still had a great body at 33. She maintained herself very well.
Ravi couldn’t be called bad-looking either; he looked decent for his age.
Ravi’s parents had grown old.
Till today, no one from Athi’s family has come to visit them.
On the night of their wedding, Athi and Ravi united for the first time.
As a result, their son Sunil was born within a year.
Ravi’s parents told Athi not to go for a job and to take care of the house. Ravi also agreed, so Athi accepted it.
Since the family depended only on Ravi’s salary, they lived very frugally, but they were extremely happy.
Ravi lived in a rented house with one bedroom attached bathroom, a kitchen, one hall, an outside bathroom, and a small verandah. Each room was reasonably spacious — that was all.
Once a month, the whole family would go to the cinema, eat at a hotel, and roam around outside for a while.
They lived very joyfully.
Athi and Ravi were deeply affectionate towards each other.
Whether once a week or once a month, they would unite physically and satisfy each other.
Their life was going so beautifully…
