Chapter 15 – The Final Push
Suresh looked lost — determined yet completely clueless. His face showed a storm of emotions: shame, hope, fear, and desperate need. He had no idea that every word Gowtham spoke was carefully constructed lies. There was no Rakesh. No therapist. No previous success story. It was all a web Gowtham had spun beautifully in just one week to reach this exact moment.
Gowtham leaned forward, his voice soft and brotherly.
“Anna… I know this is eating you from inside. I’m not sure if sharing my experience will help you, but I know one thing for sure — like the therapist said, you need to find what actually triggers you and start from there.”
Suresh looked at him with tired eyes.
“Don’t you know already? Sneha is not ready for any of this. Should we do something secretly… like how you started with Rakesh?”
Gowtham immediately shook his head.
“No, anna. Never. How can I go near Anni like that? She is your wife. I call her Anni. Unlike Rakesh’s wife, I have a real bond with both of you. You two are like family to me here in Bangalore.”
Suresh gave a weak smile.
“Don’t act too innocent, da. I’ve seen the way you look at her sometimes.”
Gowtham looked slightly embarrassed but stayed composed.
“She is beautiful, anna. Any man would look. But I have full control over myself. I respect boundaries. The first thing you should do is speak to her openly. Tell her about the roleplay idea using me. Keep it inside these four walls. See how she reacts. If it improves things between you two, great. If you both want to take it further, then we can plan it carefully so that no one gets hurt.”
Suresh nodded slowly, then hesitatingly asked:
“Just tell me one thing… after Rakesh’s wife gave consent… what exactly happened? What was the pattern? I just want to know how it progressed.”
Gowtham smiled — a small, almost imperceptible smirk that vanished instantly.
He leaned back comfortably.
“Nothing dramatic at first, getting her consent is itself a task, she was not ready, she was already friendly with me, it became easier. I started speaking on her behalf — telling Rakesh that I was on her side and understood her discomfort. That built trust. Then one day i told her a lie.. — I said, ‘Rakesh is badly needed this . as we both are againts his idea... He is trying to bring in some random common friend for the fantasy. To get hard on.
I convinced her that I’m the safest option. At least you know me.’ She was shocked at first. But she realised I was right. I was safer than bringing in a stranger. Slowly she started playing along for his sake.”
Gowtham’s eyes gleamed.
That is when, we started small flirts, she got along with that for his sake, then phone talks, then public meeting and shopping. I did everything that gave him constant arousal..
“Then we took a small trip — a hill station for Rakesh’s birthday. Just the three of us. That was ultimate peak.. we did a drama.. That night, in the cold breeze… things i pretended to finally crossing the line. He watched. He participated. He claimed her back with full force. From that night, there was no turning back. Slowly I stepped out. Now they are happier than ever.”
Therapist words were true.. he slowly regained. if not that lie, Sneha would not have agreed. Glad my lie did and Rakesh had co-operated well. Like therapist said if your partner gets on your page like how you wanted, half your burden will go away. Lets hope she just agree directly to your request which eases your effort.
Suresh sat stunned, completely silent.
His mind was spinning. The story sounded so neat, so controlled, so… possible.
Gowtham watched him carefully and spoke gently:
“All of it depends on Anni’s comfort, anna. You know her better than anyone. Talk to her tomorrow. Tell her your need, and what you really want.
He paused, then added with a soft smile:
“I’m here only to help. Nothing more.”
Suresh then said, Tomorrow night come at 9 PM for dinner and discussion. He left
