Chapter 4: The First Taste of Revenge
Malavika stood frozen as the chair swivelled around. Vikram leaned back, one eyebrow raised, a cold, satisfied smile playing on his lips.
“Sit,” he ordered, his voice deep and commanding.
She hesitated but sat down, her heart hammering. As she adjusted herself on the chair, her pallu slipped slightly, revealing a generous view of her deep cleavage. The tight blouse stretched across her full, heavy breasts. Vikram’s eyes dropped straight to it. He let his gaze linger for a long second before picking up her resume.
He read it in silence, then suddenly tossed it aside like trash.
“So… you’re the powerful heiress who thought she could walk in and claim the CEO chair on her first day?” he said mockingly.
Malavika straightened up. “That’s not true. I never asked for CEO. I just want to start at a proper position where I can actually learn the business. Dharmendra sir suggested Business Analyst —”
Before she could finish, Vikram stood up slowly and walked around the desk. He stopped right in front of her, then bent down, bringing his face dangerously close to hers. His eyes deliberately dropped again to her exposed cleavage, making no attempt to hide it.
“You just joined today… and you’re already showing your cleavage like this to get favourable treatment?” he whispered, his breath brushing her skin. “How convenient.”
SLAP!
Malavika’s palm connected hard with his cheek. The sound echoed in the office.
She shot up from the chair, furious and humiliated. “How dare you—”
Vikram’s hand shot out and grabbed her wrist in a steel grip. She started shouting, “Someone help me! Help—”
His other hand clamped roughly over her mouth, silencing her instantly. He pulled her closer, his body pressing against hers.
“You painted me as a cheap womanizer in the lobby just thirty minutes ago,” he growled, eyes burning with rage and something darker. “All because I accidentally caught you when you were about to fall. But this?” His gaze dropped pointedly to her still-exposed cleavage. “Should I consider this an accident too… or intentional?”
He held her like that for a few long, terrifying seconds, letting the shame sink in. Then he released her abruptly and stepped back telling i just let you taste the same medicine you gave me.
Malavika stumbled, breathing heavily, tears of anger and humiliation burning in her eyes. She quickly adjusted her pallu with trembling hands.
Vikram sat back down calmly, as if nothing had happened.
“I cannot directly approve you as Business Analyst,” he said coldly. “You will tag along with me for the next few important business meetings and site visits. Only if I am impressed with your performance will I promote you to Business Analyst Director level. Otherwise, you will work as entry-level staff. Even that is only because of your late father’s contribution to this company. Remember one thing clearly — in this company, as CFO, my orders are final.”
Dont dare to use your power again.. i hate misuse of power.
Malavika didn’t speak a word. She turned and walked out, cheeks burning with shame, feeling completely violated.
Outside, Bhaskar was waiting impatiently.
“How did it go?” he asked.
Before she could answer, a staff member approached and handed her an official letter.
Appointment Order – Trainee cum Personal Assistant to CFO (Vikram) for one week. Performance review thereafter.
Bhaskar read it and shrugged. “You’ll work as trainee and assistant to that Vikram? Fine. Do it. We need things to move smoothly right now. Intention matters more than position. Just keep your eyes and ears open.”
Malavika stood there silently, once again caught in the middle of a world that kept pushing her exactly where it wanted — whether she liked it or not.
She had no choice.
