Adultery 100 Days with My Wife: One Women, Two Desires, One Eternal Love [Completed]
Chapter 112: The Study Room & Suriya’s Real Motive

The moment Suriya noticed the slight tremble in Anandhi’s voice, something clicked in his mind.

He realised she must have heard at least part of his conversation with Madhan. Instead of asking directly, he asked calmly, his eyes fixed on her face:

“Why are you trembling?”

Anandhi forced a smile and looked around the room as if searching for something. “Nothing… I’m usual as always.” She quickly added, “I’m going down. Come soon for dinner. Rahul said you have an early appointment tomorrow.”

Suriya could not turn down the doubt that had now taken root, but he stayed calm on the surface and nodded. “Okay.”

For a moment Suriya got a feel like he get caught on.. his careful plan for a year, would have spoiled in a minute. but his mind was also reeling her trembling voice..

The Real Motive.

After she closed the door, Suriya sat down on the bed, recalling everything he had gone through for almost a year.

One year ago – Local bar near the prison

The Superintendent sat opposite him, a glass of whiskey in hand.

“What is bothering you, Suriya? You keep talking about business inside prison, but as soon as you came out, your focus is somewhere else?”

Suriya stared at the table. “I’m not sure… The thought of getting fooled by people who you feel like family will hurt you, sir. As soon as I came out, my mind is at war. A part of me wants to visit Anandhi and the kids. The other part wants to question Rahul, fight him. I have this strange feeling that Rahul or Madhavan may be behind this. None of them cared to visit me… like they expected this already. Should I just leave them?”

The Superintendent leaned forward. “I can understand your feeling. But are you sure your life became messy because of them?”
Suriya remained silent, shaking his head like he wasn’t sure.

The Superintendent continued, “Then what are you sure about?”
Suriya looked up, unsure if he should answer.

The older man sighed and said, “See, only a few things are true and present before you right now:
  1. You are arrested for a fraud you have not committed.
  2. The people you considered as family have not come to see you.
  3. An unknown person claimed to be your old neighbour and bailed you out, even paid your fine.
  4. And another unknown person is sitting before you right now.”

Suriya said quietly, “Sir, you are not an unknown person. You are my mentor and saviour.”

The Superintendent shook his head. “No. Don’t say that. Your spirit and never-give-up attitude impressed me. That is why I’m investing in you. I believe you will reach great heights. But you seem confused. Tell me — what do you want me to do? I suggest you start a business, but you are not ready for it?”

What the fuck you really want?

Suriya’s voice was low. “If you had asked me months back, I would have said I want my Anandhi and the kids. Now it’s a mess. It’s complicated. Even now somewhere i deep i want to be with them.. I want them, but I fear standing before them. What if she or the kids think I’m a cheater? And the other part of my mind shouts that Rahul or Madhavan could be the culprits behind this.

The Superintendent nodded slowly. “Suriya, I understand. But dont do that, you now going to them will be painful for you, you wont be recognized you will be humiliated.

Also you need to move on. She chose her husband. You need to stop having feelings for her. Have you ever imagined what the kids would think when you chase and take her by your side?

Listen to this carefully Suriya

A complicated family with Anandhi left with no dignity and kids with mental turmoil?
Or…
leading a successful life.?

The choice is yours.

Suriya looked at him

For almost 10 mins he was silent.
Suriya then resumed

“Okay, let’s assume I choose to move away… but what about the pain caused by the false claims?
What if Rahul and Madhavan played it big behind me?”
Should i leave them as it is?
don't i need to know the truth?

The Superintendent leaned back. “This is not the time to fight back. You are powerless. No one will bother to listen to you. All you need to do is shine in business. Become a big shot. Make them reach out to you. Get their closeness. Just to be your friend, one of them will eventually reveal all the secrets.”

Suriya asked, “It may look nice to hear, but will they ever tell us what crime they did?”

The Superintendent smiled faintly. “They won’t. That’s why you should get back into their zone, be a friend, but secretly investigate them. Find clues.

But that’s later, after you reach great heights. For now, concentrate on business. Focus on your own growth. Come out of the pain. Life for yourself.

When the time comes, unleash yourself. Find the truth. When you find the truth while you are more powerful than them, then you will see the real fear in them.”

Suriya came back to the present, sitting on the bed in the guest room.

He had worked dedicatedly for a year. He had used Madhan to get Rahul focused on his company, guided him toward the Expo and SAN Fitness. Everything had gone as per his scheme.

All he needed now was to find the truth. If he stayed out, he could never discover it. He had chosen this way because it was the only way Anandhi and the kids wouldn’t be affected. Instead of fighting straight, this investigation method would give him the result he wanted.
This could give two results: If they really did nothing, the reason for not visiting could be just because they wanted to let it go, as his presence would complicate the relationship for everyone. If that is the only case… he could be at peace and leave them with friendship.
But if Rahul was involved, he decided he would give back exactly what Rahul had done to him.

Regarding Anandhi, he was not ready to dive into it. He himself didn’t want to complicate things. But after recent happenings, he feared if Anandhi could be part of this… or if she was hiding something from him. The moment he saw her trembling voice, something didn’t add up.
Right now, he was just warming up to be a good person around.

Suriya’s mind was clear: his next step was to find that computer, which might have records that would help him get the details he needed.

The next day, during dinner, Suriya casually mentioned, “My laptop is causing trouble. I need a proper system to work. Do you have any spare PC? I may even move it to my room.”

Rahul, without thinking much, replied, “You can take my laptop.”

Suriya shook his head. “No, no. I will install VPN and a few other safer softwares. I don’t want to use yours. Is there one you use for the house?”
Rahul pointed toward the study room. “There is one in the study. You can use it.”

Anandhi, who was serving food, felt her stomach drop. She could not say no openly. She automatically connected it with the information she had overheard the previous night and realised he was trying to find something with the old PC.

That night, after Rahul went to sleep, Anandhi was restless. The thought of the computer going upstairs kept her awake. She waited until the house was quiet, then quietly went upstairs to speak about the PC to Suriya but as she steps up, She saw Suriya coming down.

She said quickly, “I used to have my files in that PC. I don’t want you to move it upstairs. If you want, use it down here. I may also need to work on it at times.”

Suriya said, “Fine, but I don’t know where your study room is.”

She said, “We don’t have an actual study room. It’s a guest bedroom we converted into a bed-cum-study room.”

She opened the door to the study and said, “Here is the computer. I have some work in it today. I will let you know once I’ve finished.”

Suriya looked inside. It was not actually a study room — it was a guest bedroom with a computer desk and a bed nearby. He nodded. “Okay.”

After he went in, Anandhi closed the door behind him and immediately sat at the computer. She frantically opened every folder and every saved file. To her relief, the hard drive was almost clean — Rahul had deleted most old records long ago.

She was happy about it. At 11:48 PM she informed Suriya that he could use it freely now and went back to her room, trying to sleep by 12 AM.

But the moment her head hit the pillow, a terrifying thought struck her:
I Checked every folder but forgot to see the browser.
What if the files are in Google Drive or in email? Rahul never signs out.
If Suriya opens the browser, everything will still be visible…

She panicked. She could not contain the fear. She decided to go back to the study bedroom and stop Suriya from using it.

She quietly opened the door.
Suriya was sitting at the desk, the screen glowing on his face.
