Man don't make her pregnant just to get Surya to stay. Rahul had decided to sacrifice a lot for her and the kids, he deserves the happy ending.
I know it's in trend nowadays to get sad/conflicted endings in very stories/movies, but it became very common and the story would end like other stories where husband accepts and sacrifices again if Surya stays in her life. Would be Predictable
