Hell no. If you take the Pavi and Raj connection, it's more of a regular affair story that we see almost every day in the news in modern life — a husband’s boss having an affair with his subordinate’s wife. I don’t think it’s that exciting.
But just look at the Praksha and Pavi combo — that’s the real high-selling point of the story. That lift scene is the perfect example. It’s always exciting to see a well-disciplined married woman falling for an unequal guy, especially when he’s just her apartment security guard.
All of this is just our opinion, though. Let’s see what the author comes up with.

Ermmm i wasn't talking about their status quo in social hierarchy. Even if you take that, affair with watchman isn't that unique- you can find stories here as well- that usp exists eveywhere (in tamil space), i believe this one has more to it. It's more about how things are conveyed (screenplay) and that realism. Lift scene didn't work for me imo it wasn't close to reality- kinda far fetched I felt. Others did, due to the liberty and how they were constructed. 

Raj-Pavi dynamics mainly stood out coz of the potential dominance/hold Raj has over Pavi. More about the characteristics of each not the status quo. Raj can potentially tease Pavi, make her blush/awkward/do things she's not comfortable saying out loud but can enjoy them inside. Prakash is young but "submissive" and that's quite real as well, it's just soft going women rarely prefer folks w that trait. They look for a guy who can dominate/push their boundaries while being protective and caring. Don't want to confine Pavi- everything goes thro an arc, I just shared my preference. Having read the english version, it did feel like the details with Raj particularly stood out/ it had the rawness but some viewers wanted Prakash as that fit the usual/old status quo with more actions.

Sure the author holds higher power, i'm in awe with the way he/she teases and gives soul to each character. Happy either way. All i wanted to, is to just share my thoughts. Created account only for the author.
