The next morning, the house was quiet, the energy from the previous night’s wedding festivities having faded. Gayatri was in the kitchen preparing breakfast, humming softly to herself, while Raj, who had stayed over at Siva and Gayatri's place, wandered in, still sleepy but eager for a cup of coffee.

As he approached, Gayatri greeted him with a mischievous smile, the kind that told Raj she was still in a playful mood.

"Good morning, Raj," she said, her voice sweet and teasing, "How did you sleep? Any dreams of dancing with married women?"

Raj groaned, rubbing his eyes. "Bhabhi, please, not again," he muttered, though a smile tugged at the corners of his mouth. Gayatri handed him a cup of coffee, still grinning. "Oh, come on. You know you loved it. You didn’t seem so shy on the dance floor last night."

Raj took a sip of his coffee, eyeing her suspiciously. "Bhabhi, you’ve been teasing me since last night. Are you ever going to tell me what Anjali said to you after the dance?"

Gayatri’s smile widened, and she turned her back to him, stirring something on the stove. "Oh, you’re still thinking about that, huh? What makes you so curious?"

Raj followed her into the kitchen, leaning against the counter. "Because I know it’s something about me. You two were laughing after the dance, and I’m 100% sure it’s about what she thought of me." 

Gayatri pretended to be deep in thought, tapping her chin with a spoon. "Hmm, you might be right. She did have a few things to say about you." 

Raj raised an eyebrow, now even more curious. "Like what?" Gayatri turned around, flashing him a teasing smile. "Oh, nothing important. She just... noticed some things about you." 

Raj groaned again, frustrated but amused. "Bhabhi, come on. Don’t torture me like this. You’ve got to tell me what she said."

Gayatri raised an eyebrow, clearly enjoying watching him squirm. "Oh, so desperate to know, aren’t you? You’re not used to being the one out of the loop." 

Raj sighed dramatically. "Yes, I’m desperate! You’ve been keeping me in suspense since last night. Just tell me already."

Gayatri smirked, crossing her arms as she leaned against the kitchen counter. "Alright, fine. I’ll tell you one thing..." She paused for dramatic effect, making Raj lean in eagerly.

"Anjali said..." Gayatri began slowly, her voice dripping with mischief, "...that you have potential."

Raj blinked, confused. "Potential? Potential for what?"

Gayatri shrugged, turning back to her cooking. "Oh, you know... potential. That’s all I’ll say." 

Raj stared at her, now even more confused than before. "Bhabhi, you’re not making any sense. What kind of potential? Is this a compliment or...?" 

Gayatri laughed softly, enjoying how flustered Raj was becoming. "Well, Raj, it’s up to you to figure out what kind of ‘potential’ she was talking about. Maybe it was your dancing... maybe something else." 

Raj groaned again, feeling like he was being led in circles. "This is worse than I imagined. Bhabhi, seriously, just tell me the truth." 

Gayatri turned to face him, her smile mischievous and playful. "What’s the fun in that, Raj? You’ll never know if I tell you everything." 

Raj crossed his arms, narrowing his eyes at her. "I think you’re just making this up to mess with me." 

Gayatri raised an eyebrow, looking mock-offended. "Me? Make something up? How dare you, Raj. I’m simply sharing what Anjali told me." 

Raj shook his head, chuckling despite himself. "You’re impossible, Bhabhi. So, she said I have ‘potential,’ huh? What does that even mean?" 

Gayatri’s grin grew even wider. "Well, Raj, that’s for Anjali to know and for you to wonder about." 

Raj threw up his hands in mock defeat. "You’re driving me crazy, you know that?" 

Gayatri giggled, clearly enjoying his frustration. "You’ll survive. But I will say this... Anjali seemed impressed with you. She told me you handled yourself pretty well during the dance." 

Raj’s curiosity flared up again. "Oh? That’s interesting. And what exactly did I do that impressed her?" 

Gayatri turned around again, this time with a glint of mischief in her eyes. "Let’s just say... she was surprised by how... ‘confident’ you were." 

Raj felt his face heat up, knowing she was teasing him again. "Confident? Bhabhi, I was nervous the whole time!" 

Gayatri shrugged, still smiling. "Well, you didn’t look nervous to her. In fact, she said you looked quite... composed for someone dancing with a married woman." 

Raj’s eyes widened in disbelief. "She said that?" 

Gayatri winked, stepping closer to him with a teasing smile. "Maybe... or maybe I just added that part for fun. Either way, it was good practice for your ‘potential,’ don’t you think?" 

Raj sighed, realizing he was never going to get a straight answer. "Bhabhi, you’re enjoying this way too much." 

Gayatri laughed, patting him on the shoulder. "Oh, come on, Raj. It’s all in good fun. But you should know, Anjali didn’t have anything bad to say about you. Quite the opposite, actually." 

Raj felt a small sense of relief but was still curious. "Really? So she was just... impressed?" 

Gayatri nodded, her voice softening slightly. "Yes, she was impressed. But that’s all I’m going to tell you. The rest... well, you’ll just have to keep wondering."

Raj gave her a playful glare. "You’re impossible, Bhabhi."

Gayatri smirked, walking back to the stove. "That’s what makes me fun, right?"

Raj chuckled, shaking his head as he leaned back against the counter. "Yeah, I guess you’re right. But next time, I’m getting all the details. No more secrets."

Gayatri looked over her shoulder, winking at him. "We’ll see about that, Raj."

Later that day, as Raj was preparing to leave, Gayatri couldn’t resist throwing in one last playful jab. As he gathered his things, she approached him with a smirk on her face.

Raj nearly dropped his bag, his face turning red again. "Bhabhi! You can’t just ask that out of nowhere."

Gayatri laughed, her eyes twinkling with mischief. "Why not? You seemed pretty flustered last night. I thought maybe dancing with her gave you some... insights."

Raj shook his head, trying to fight off his embarrassment. "Bhabhi, nothing like that happened. We just danced. That’s it."

Gayatri smirked, clearly not convinced. "Oh, come on, Raj. I saw the way Anjali was looking at you. And the way you were looking at... well, let’s just say, someone else."

Raj’s face burned even hotter, and he shot her a half-serious, half-amused look. "I wasn’t looking at anyone like that."

Gayatri raised an eyebrow, giving him a knowing look. "Mmhmm, sure you weren’t. Don’t worry, Raj. Your secret’s safe with me."

Raj sighed, knowing there was no escaping her teasing. "You’re impossible, Bhabhi."

Gayatri laughed, waving him off. "I know, I know. But that’s why you love me."

Raj smiled despite himself. "Yeah, that’s true. But you’re still not telling me what Anjali said, are you?"

Gayatri grinned, crossing her arms. "Nope. You’ll have to live with the mystery, Raj."

Raj chuckled, shaking his head as he slung his bag over his shoulder. "Alright, alright. I’ll let it go... for now."

As he walked to the door, Gayatri called out after him. "Don’t forget, Raj—next time, it’s your turn to spill all the details!"

Raj laughed, waving over his shoulder. "Deal! But don’t expect me to dance with Anjali again."

Gayatri’s laughter followed him out the door, her teasing voice lingering in his ears as he left the house. And though he was still curious about what Anjali had said, Raj couldn’t help but smile, knowing that the playful banter between him and Gayatri would always keep things interesting.

Gayatri laughed, clearly enjoying how flustered he was. “Alright, alright. I won’t push. But just remember... the next time you’re complaining about being single, I’m going to remind you of this conversation.”

Raj smiled despite himself, shaking his head. “You’re impossible.”

Gayatri grinned, giving him a playful nudge. “That’s why you love me, right?”

Raj laughed, opening the door. “Yeah, but you’re still not getting me to dance with Anjali again.”

Gayatri’s laughter echoed behind him as he stepped outside, her teasing voice trailing after him. “We’ll see about that, Raj. We’ll see.”

Siva grinned, leaning back in his seat. "Well, you’re welcome! See, this is why I keep telling you—you need to get married, Raj. Look at all the fun you’re missing out on!"

At this, Raj glanced briefly into the rearview mirror, catching Gayatri’s eyes. She was watching them, and though her lips were pressed together, he could see the faintest hint of a blush creeping onto her cheeks. When their eyes met, she quickly looked away, smiling to herself.

Siva smirked. "Friendly, huh? Is that what you call it these days? Well, I say you’re lucky. You got to dance with a beautiful woman, and you didn’t even have to do the asking."

At this, Raj glanced once more into the rearview mirror, locking eyes with Gayatri again. This time, she couldn’t help herself—she let out a soft laugh, her cheeks tinged pink as she met his gaze. Raj gave her a look that seemed to say, Can you believe this? but she only smiled in response, clearly enjoying the way Siva was unknowingly stirring the pot.

Siva, now feeling bolder with his teasing, shifted in his seat to look at Gayatri. "Gayu, what do you think? Don’t you agree that Raj needs to stop being so shy and start putting himself out there more?"
