Bavi walked out of the HR wing with her spine locked and her breath held in a fragile, pressurized chamber. The forest-green suit felt damp against her skin; the "Thermal Surge" Meenakshi had pointed out on the monitor was nothing compared to the literal heat flushing through her body now.
