Chapter 150 – The Midnight Thoughts & The Deal
Chennai – Vikram’s Beach House
Mirnaa couldn’t sleep.
She woke in the middle of the night — heart racing, mind spinning. The room was dark except for the faint silver glow of moonlight slipping through the curtains. Vikram slept beside her — peaceful, steady breathing, one arm dbangd over her waist. His hand was warm, familiar. She stared at his face — calm, unguarded — and felt a pang she couldn’t name.
She slowly lifted his arm, slid out of bed. Bare feet on cool marble. She walked downstairs to the hall — sat on the sofa, knees drawn up, arms wrapped around them.
She recalled everything.
Krish admitted in hospital — someone had pushed him down. From what Vikram and Swathi spoke in hushed tones, some enemies had done it. Okay, Krish was known for some undisclosed business — so it was natural.
But why did some men corner Vikram? He is just a partner at a new firm, right? Is their firm illegal? Or something dark? Why did they come to attack Vikram? And from when does Vikram know to fight with his fists and hands like that?
The income from the electrical shops and their assets value doesn’t match. She had seen the ledgers — steady, clean, but too clean. Too small for the life they lived. The house. The cars. The trips. The hospital bills paid without blinking.
Mirnaa initially thought of leaving Vikram and vanishing forever — hide somewhere so Vikram could gradually forget her and have a good life. But in Zurich, Vikram changed her mind. He came at the last minute and recovered her from the crowd. He said he would always find her. Claim her. Because he loved her.
But she had not left that thought completely. After recent incidents — the fight, the late-night calls, the moodiness — she put those thoughts on hold and decided to take care of Vikram. But now it seemed like he was threatened by someone. Him in danger? Should she leave him now? No. But Vikram — for some reasons — had been hiding things from her. She was sure about it.
She needed to get it clarified.
She thought of Mohan anna — loyal to Vikram, but he considered her like a daughter. She could approach him carefully. Ask questions without alarming him. Get clarity.
She went back to the bedroom after much thought. Slipped under the covers.
Vikram stirred — arm instinctively finding her waist again. She lay awake, staring at the ceiling, clarifying in her mind what to do.
Outskirts of Chennai – Abandoned Warehouse – Same Night
Bharath woke — groggy, head throbbing, body aching from the rod strike. He was lying on a thin mattress in a dimly lit room — no ropes, no chains. Just a single bulb overhead and the faint smell of concrete and oil. His wrists were free. He sat up slowly — vision clearing.
A voice came — calm, amused.
“Welcome, partner.”
Bharath blinked — vision sharpening.
Aadharsh stood in the doorway — arms crossed, smirk on his face, flanked by two men who stayed silent.
“Surprise,” Aadharsh said. “You hit me on my back… see, I came to you now.”
Bharath rubbed his temple — voice rough.
“So you know I was a double agent. You took me to punish or eradicate me?”
Aadharsh laughed — short, cold.
“Frankly, I wanted to do that. But see… we have common enemies. In that sense, more than enmity, it’s better to shake hands as friends. I will forgive you for your past — provided you join me for joint revenge.”
Bharath stared.
“I don’t understand.”
Aadharsh stepped closer — voice low.
“See, I’m married and living my life.”
Aadharsh laughed — loud, mocking.
“I know you got married. Manya, that lady. Then you have a baby who wasn’t yours. And you came here and fucked your friend’s wife. Haha, is that a penis or some sort of machine? Don’t you know how to keep it under control? In Goa — Mirnaa. Then tried Manya — when she didn’t give, you took Malini.”
He laughed again — men around them chuckled.
Bharath’s jaw clenched.
“None of your business.”
Aadharsh leaned in — voice dropping.
Wait… how do you know all this? You followed?”
Aadharsh smiled — thin, dangerous.
“Not just that. I even know more. Manya doesn’t have sex with you. I know it.”
Bharath looked at him — stunned.
“That’s my private matter. How do you know?”
Aadharsh pulled out a tablet — played a clip.
Vikram and Manya in the old café in Koramangala. The audio clear.
Bharath saw entire drama. he realised he was played by both vikram and manya in name of love
shit "Love" he used same thing to revenge me..
He just remembered same line again aand again from the video clip he saw
Vikram’s voice: “When he comes back, don’t give him sex yet. Continue to torment him. Keep him on the edge. Break him more.”
Bharath’s face twisted.
“Shit… he played me. You asshole…”
He lunged — Aadharsh stepped back calmly. Men moved forward — hands raised, not attacking.
Aadharsh watched — calm.
“Now you know what to do. This time don’t trade women. Finish him properly — not physical, but by legal. Trap him. Get him into legal trouble. Let him face charges. That’s the way I can get hold of the empire.”
Bharath looked at him — eyes narrowing.
“I have a few more things to confirm. I need time.”
Aadharsh nodded.
“You’ll have my number. Call me tomorrow. Goodbye for now.”
He signaled his men.
They escorted Bharath out — dropped him where he wanted to go.
