Chapter 121 – Manya's Refusal
Bangalore – Park – Evening
Manya: Bharath what?
Vikram: Please stop getting shocked.. Give me some time to speak, tell you fully, clearly..
Manya: I'm here just tell me now..
Vikram looked at her mother and said to Manya, shall we move that side i need to tell something which i don't want any other to hear
Manya understandably said okay..
Vikram sat on the bench opposite Manya. The lotus pond reflected the dying light. The air was cool. The mother kept the stroller rocking gently. The baby had quieted.
They had chosen a spot far enough from the main path that the mother could not hear their words — only see.
Manya’s eyes were sharp — waiting, guarded, not trusting yet.
Vikram spoke first. Voice low. Steady. No rush.
“I will tell you everything. From the beginning.”

He started with the truth — Half truth which Vikram wanted to tell Manya..

“Manya, I have a beautiful wife - Mirna. My whole life was her. Today I am a businessman with electrical stores. You could have heard — the popular Vikram Mirnaa Electronics. It is mine.

But you know what he did. He utilized my situation. He utilized my old story.
Mirnaa — my wife — does not know my past. She thinks I am a good and innocent person. But in reality she is the innocent one. Slowly he started taking liberty around her. He tricked me into making myself surrender my wife to him. She thinks she is doing it for me. And I fear now I would completely lose her to Bharath. He is playing a love game. That she won’t even have a chance of looking back at me.
This week my previous boss’s network is mine. They call me Shadow King. But I feel like a loser — with my wife being snatched away from me.”
Manya’s face stayed unreadable. But her fingers tightened on the edge of the bench.
Vikram continued.
“I became the Shadow King. Sekaran died. Aadharsh lost control. But Bharath never stopped. He manipulated Mirnaa. Made her believe he loved her. Made her feel guilty for everything. They are in an affair now. Deep. She thinks it is love. She thinks I forgave her. I did — on the surface.
But inside… I hate him. I hate what I allowed. And I hate that she is falling for his lies.”
Manya finally spoke. Voice quiet.
“So you let him have your wife. And now you want revenge.”
Vikram shook his head.
“Yes Revenge,. But first I want my wife back. Safe. Away from him. The only way to do that is to make him drop his guard. Make him vulnerable. And the only person who can do that is you.
And if you could cooperate… I could take revenge on him. But it depends on your cooperation.”
Manya:
“How?”
Vikram: “If you pretend to love him back. If you reach out. Tell him you miss him. That you never stopped thinking about him. That you want to meet. He will believe it. He still carries you in his head. He will come to you. And when he does… I will have everything back. And Mirnaa will see him for what he is.”
Manya stared at him for a long time.
“You are asking me to go back to the man who destroyed my life. Pretend to love him. So you can save your wife.”
Vikram:
“Yes.”
Manya’s voice hardened.
“Mr… I still do not know who you are. I listened to your story. Looks pretty bad. But It is your mess.
Also your story is highly unbelievable. The husband does stay silent when the wife is lured by someone like Bharath. Sounds very unbelievable..
Even if everything you say is true — even if Bharath deserves it — the revenge you wanted is exactly your revenge.. Not mine.. . Not my issue. Revenge him is not going to do anything for me..
And this is not justice I wanted to hear, getting my husband's lawful money would call justice.. Helping your revenge just because we have a common person as a threat is not justice.. That's never justice to me.

Manya : And “Do you even understand what you asked? Just to safeguard your wife from Bharath, you want me to get back into a shell which I wanted to break. Do you even know what he had done to me?”

Manya looked at him and asked: “Okay. Tell me. Let me see what you know about me and how you will help me get revenge.”

You and Bharath are college sweethearts. You guys loved each other. You guys have no boundaries. But things turned ugly when Bharath’s father found out. He pushed you to marry someone from Bharath’s father’s company. You are shocked when Bharath could not react and he chose to marry some rich woman. And he got divorced as Bharath’s wife was in an affair. Your husband died in an accident inside the company and you are yet to receive financial help. Bharath’s father seems to shut all possible doors inside the company.
You hate Bharath for all of this. You have a child with your husband after getting to know he was a good person right.”
Manya: “This anyone could tell. Think you got a good source to know about me. But why do I need to revenge him… see I guess it is a misunderstanding.
I don’t want revenge. I just want justice. I want my husband’s full amount the company owes me. And Bharath keeps on insisting me to return to him. I love my husband. That is enough. No matter if he is here or not. I am seeing him through the baby.
I am trying to face them legally. I am putting a case on them. That should work.
Mr Vikram if you want your wife back, speak to her. Just confess you did something wrong. Don’t complicate yourself.”

“No. Bharath and his father won’t allow you to take a case upon them. Even if you do, they will pay any price to stop it.”
Manya got irritated.
“That is my burden. Bharath’s father is known for being ruthless. I will face him.”

“Do you think all these are Bharath's father's doing? The company owed an amount not settled?”
Manya looked surprised.

“It is Bharath doing.
He wanted to stop it so that you would go to him. Not just that — he even threatened some of your old company bosses to throw you out so that he thinks you will surrender to him.”
Manya looked shocked.
“What?” So its just his doing.. shit
Vikram:
“I said I know things which even you don’t know.
Bharath is not just orchestrating my life. He is destroying yours too. You think he is just torturing you for love? No. He is silently pushing you. Crushing you. And when you feel nowhere to go he will show his heroism.”
Manya was broken.
“Shit… he is not leaving me happy even after what their family did to him.”
Vikram leaned forward slightly.
“I can protect you. The money. Justice. A new start. Safe. No one will touch you again.”
Manya shook her head.
They sat silent for a minute
Then manya continued
“No. I am scared.
More than Bharath I am scared about you.
I do not believe you. You let him have your wife. You built an empire on her back. And now you want me to clean up your mess. No.
Just like how Bharath used your weakness and need.
You are trying it on me.
Sorry I can’t.

She stood up.
At a distance, the mother stood too. Manya looked down at Vikram.

She turned. Walked away with her mother and the stroller.

Grab all CCTV footage in specific times when Manya went to Bharath’s father office. Do whatever, Hack it or bribe someone inside.
