Mirnaa still circling his hair on chest..
He stroked her hair slowly. “What bothers you?”
Mirnaa adjusted her head against his heartbeat. “Nothing,” 


Vikram find this as right time.. He spoke gently.

“Next week I may be going to Dubai — finalizing stocks. The new business is moving faster than I thought.”


Mirnaa lifted her head slightly. “You didn’t tell me…”

She sounded distracted — circling her finger on his chest, mind elsewhere.
Vikram caught her hand, kissed her knuckles.



“You look worried about being alone?” he said.  Mirnaa looked at him — eyes soft.


Vikram continued, voice low, careful.

“Bharath is here. Just… go with him outside sometimes. Shopping. Movies. Hotel — like a date.”

Mirnaa’s eyes widened. With the word like a date! She hit his hand playfully. “What are you blabbering?”

Vikram laughed — soft, easy. “We’re friends, with Bharath  right? I said it in a fun tone.”


But he didn’t back down.

“I’m really open about letting you explore the world. Go with him in evenings. 
Don’t shut yourself inside the house.”


Mirnaa stared at him. “Are you speaking for real? Do you understand what you are speaking”  He nodded. “Yes.”


He continued — voice dropping, almost conspiratorial.

“I’m doing this because I want Bharath back to his old self. He’s opening up to you… just bring him back. He lied, I know how he was once.. The fun charm, the smile all coming back for few weeks now.. You should accelerate it and bring more out of him.. 


Do it as a friend. Usually men tend to listen most to the opposite gender.”


Mirnaa  stared at him. “I understand you wanted to help him, repay our kindness we are already doing it.. but 

I never see a husband appreciate his wife going out with another man.”
The word hit hard on him ...


But Vikram still smiled — gentle, calm and composed tried to impose something on her.

“I’m asking my wife to bring back one soul out of suffering. Imagine if not bharath then, the bigshot would have forced you. If not him you wouldn't have seen me.. What's the best we can do? other than Bring him back ..



Mirna still could not understand anything of Vikram has been telling, finally said I'm not sure I couldn't relate or accept any of it. 


after a pause she continued.
But I whole heartedly wanted to help Bahrath. But hanging around him wont the world think bad? 


Vikram asked did the world saved us or Bharath?.

His sharp question left Mirna in a pause
Vikram keep looking on her eyes. Suddenly Mirna's " I never see a husband appreciate his wife going out with another man.” dialogue which she said few minutes ago ringed again in his head




Vikram rose from his place, Mirnaa too 
He sat on bed, like for some serious conversation 
He took a deep breath like he was decided something and going to speak 
Mirna watched him with seriousness



Okay Mirna, Few Questions Answer me Honestly 

Have i ever lied to you?
Mirna said: No 


Did i ever made you felt not at all loved
Mirna: Not even a single time


Do you trust me
Mirna: Who else i will.


DO you love me same as when i met you 
Mirna: every second.. 


Same case here Mirna, to me you did the same, You never lied to me, You never made me felt unloved, you never mistrusted me and i have full trust in you. The love I had for you only doubled and never dropped.


Mirna was confused why he is saying all these all of the sudden

For the past few minutes i have been blabbering a lot, because i don't have guts to tell you what decision i had made. 


I was even in guilt for past few weeks because I'm not open to you.


Mirna carefully watched him with a shock..

She asked  what is troubling you.. Why you are hesitant to share to me..

Vikram then lied, You know why Bharath came that day to hospital to save you? He didn't come there coincidentally, he came there to see you.. For thanking you, actually he was impressed. This echoed exactly like our old story. But you are married to me.. 


After Manya, his love, and Ex Wife, no one else had sparked an interest in him. You did but you are my wife. Ever since he knows it he maintained a good distance and never tried to enter our space..

But he had been a good friend. I got to know about this through Rishi the common friend. He and rishi came to meet you. That is when big shot thing happend. He came next day but after hearing i was in trouble he came to station and you now what happened. He tried his best to protect us, just because you saved him.. He risked his life, because im a friend, my wife had saved hiim..

So i saw the opportunity especially through us.. he opens to you, he listens to you  i want you to date with him, you would change him, when he socialize normal like funs and all. We he gets back interested i believe we can speak with him and get him into marriage talks.. What you say


I don't know how to tell this directly, I don't know how you will take this..  so i have been circling a lot topic, lot directions but  i have no other option so surrendered.

Mirna was taken back.. She said i will happily involved if this is for his good but..

Mirna asked with a hesitation! How... how... how can i date him?

Vikram said marriage has nothing to do with date, its two people just getting to know each other, they speak heart to heart, then some people escalate it to sex. some wont. We will fall in the second category. 


Then you could have called as friends right, friendly outings

Vikram said, you know we are trying to get a friend into marriage feelings, getting him attracting to normal life style. so sometimes it involves flirt, hugs.. not many friends would do that, so date is perfect terminology

And speaking of which only you and me know its a Date for him.. you are taking him out.. 

Mirna asked how in the world i take him out, like naturally , if you dont want him to know my intention and yet play alog our plan

Vikram shook his head. “No.  you will do it in action.. You guys are already friends speaking in the car, going together, coming together. Just ask him to stop at some local shop. Buy something. Start slow. Like casual not out of the box , Then take him to shop yourself. Make it a practice. When I'm in Dubai slowly dine out sometime. Speak hearts out. Then say you’re bored — you, Priya, and Bharath go for a movie. Then cut Priya. You two go?”

So this will work naturally, he also wont get doubt.
Thing is if he is aware of our plan, he will revert back and go away from our house.. 

So make it natural.

Mirna still under confusion, Vikram realized said this
Consider this as a help for me, if not for him. Bring him back.”

Mirna whispered: “Sure. From tomorrow… I’ll do all you asked.”
Vikram held her tighter.
