Chapter-61:
Sanjoth's Coffee-Time:
When he walked and entered the Cafe, he saw the large presence of Khurram at one corner. When he took a few steps forward, he stopped automatically. There were two more men sitting next to Khurram.
"Upendraji...Mehtaji", Sanjoth heard himself whispering the names.
Three men sat relaxed, and waited till the sullen looking younger man to reach their table.
"Have a seat Sanjoth", Upendra played the perfect host.
"Ji, thank you", he replied in a meek voice.
"Have your Coffee, Sanju. We got much to discuss", Khurram pushed the Coffee cup.
"Thank you Khurramji", another meek reply.
"Okay, let's me come to why we called you here", Khurram started and found the nervous man leaning forward on his elbows. "Look, Sanjoth, we like you. But, we like our wives more but more than that, it's you who likes them more than we do as we found out recently. I hope you get where I am going with this, yes?", Khurram paused.
Sanjoth shivered and nodded with shit-scared face.
"Right. So, Sanjoth, I am not trying to portray that we are good people. That, we are not. But, we have not seen anyone who is worse than us, till we met you", Khurram paused again to make sure Sanjoth was getting the weight of his words in full. "And now, we would like to show you a few things first. Upendra, show him"
With a dirty grin, Upendra opened his phone and handed it over to Sanjoth.
The moment he saw what was on the screen, Sanjoth's face turned into ghostly white. It was the clip where he was slapping Maahi's ass followed by his cock sliding in and out of her. There was no view of Upendra in it. With freight running all through his body, Sanjoth recalled the time when Upendra left him with Maahi in the Jacuzzi tub.
Before he could open his mouth, he saw Khurram extending his hand with his phone. With dread, and increase fear of what he was going to see, Sanjoth took the phone...it was exactly what he thought of...his own image of sliding in and out of the large sized Safiya in the Sauna...for a fraction of a second, his focus slid to check their joints where the video captured perfectly how his penis glistened with her dense froth.
"To top all of this, I've got something more my friend", Mehta gruffed as he extended his phone to a completely dazed younger man.
In an auto-reflex, Sanjoth took the phone from the third old-man and grimaced when he saw his own cock being gulped and sucked by Sharda. His body jolted with the recollection of the one event that he had concealed from himself. Few days earlier, when he was caught by his wife while groping the maid, Sharda at his kitchen, he left off to gym and found Sharda walking in, and engaged in a fellatio by her. He thought that no one knew except the two...but now, he was looking at proof.
"Slide to next one", he heard Mehta's voice again and slid the screen. His breath got caught in throat. It was him...grinding his manhood, underneath his underwear, against Mimi's buttocks. She was half-naked with her upper body exposed...breasts dangling in mid-air. Both having beer in their hands...drunk...dry humping...and then he saw him keeping the beer bottle aside and moving his hands forward to take hold of her breasts...both moaning and in a salivating embrace.
He had to close the video and sat back in the chair as if life had gone out of his body.
"What do you want?", somehow he gathered the last bit of energy in him, and looked at all three men who were intently watching his reactions.
"Well, very good question, Sanjoth", Upendra replied.
"Right, now you know what you did. And, you know how bad this could be to your life as you are living now, yes?", Mehta asked.
"Yes", Sanjoth's reply was so low that he himself couldn't heard his voice.
"Now, now, don't be so dejected. Afterall, we are bad people, remember? But you are the worst", Khurram added.
"What do you want?", Sanjoth repeated the question again with a voice that was lower than earlier.
Half hour later, his office staff saw a very dejected and troubled looking Sanjoth walking in and slumping on his chair. Though, worried about him, they left him as was, because he wasn’t a good people person at office. Still, someone was there who took an interest in him.
"You okay, Sanjoth?", the soft, female voice came that made Sanjoth lift his head from desk.
"Yes, yes, just a headache", he dismissed her.
"Okay, why don't you take the rest of the day off then, we don't have anything major happening here, you know", she wanted to comfort him.
"Yes, better I do that", he replied, and with a thanking nod, left the office.
The moment he sat in his chair, his phone buzzed.
Sanjoth, Safiya and ...
"Safiyaji", he muttered as he saw Safiya's number blinking on phone screen.
"Sanju, are you okay?", her concerned voice came.
Sanjoth couldn't bear the weight of what he was carrying. He sobbed. Safiya listened and with soft voices, tried to comfort him.
"Sanju, situation here is bad. I am told to move out of my home, and honestly I don't know what to do", Safiya's vocie broke as well.
"Oh God. Sorry...I don't even know where to start. I just screwed up a lot of lives Safiyaji", he continued sobbing.
"Easy...easy...what happened has happened Sanju, there is nothing that anyone can do to change the past. You need to get a grip, okay", she pacified him.
"Yes, true. But, but, I don't know what to do"
"Look, Sanju, I am old enough to make my life's choices. What I made of such liberty, is why I am now in this situation. No denying of this fact. The only thing, I can do is to give Khurramji some space for sometime"
"Yeah", he whimpered.
"That's why I called you"
"What can I do, Safiyaji?"
"I got a call from Maahi just now and she told me what happened. She has been given an ultimatum too. So, we are going away to one of her family's farmhouse to spend a week or two there...or maybe less...not decided. There is nothing else that we can do here, you understand?"
"Yes, yes, I do"
"That's why I called. Khurramji didn't tell me anything...and Upendra also same stance towards Maahi. That's why, I thought of checking with you to know what happened...do you know what exactly made them to ask us to move out of the house? Any idea?", her voice was controlled yet anxious.
"No, Safiyaji. I don't", he lied...he knew exactly why all of this was happening.
"Ya'khuda...I don’t know what to do", she muttered to herself, but he heard.
"Safiyaji, if I may ask. Can I join both of you for this two weeks?"
"What? You want to join us?", Safiya's voice seemed shocked and excited at same time.
At Safiya's side of the call, Khurram smiled wickedly at his Begum because the call was kept on speaker and the conversation with Sanjoth was loud and clear to the old man.
"Yes please. I promise, I will not behave bad. It's just that, I need a bit of time away from Tanvi, and I think after all what she went through, she would also prefer to get some time without me around. May I join you both?", he asked again...almost begging.
"Sure...I don't see any other reason. But, please...you need to make sure that Tanvi doesn't know that we are together. Otherwise, you know how bad it would turn out for all of us eventually, promise?", Safiya was in fact silently sobbing next to the widely grinning Khurram watching her intently.
"Yes, I will go home now and when are we leaving?"
"I will leave now, and you can reach there tomorrow morning. Be with Tanvi, and try to help her through okay, that's all what you can do at this time", she comforted.
Disconnecting the phone, Safiya sneered at hee husband with teary eyes. "You...you are really a very bad human, Khurramji", Safiya broke into a hysterical cry as soon as the phone was closed.
"I know...how come you didn't knew till now, Begum?", Khurram sipped his tea and repleid casually.
"You...you promised this would never happen in our life after what happened to Mehtaji's wife"
"And what exactly have I done now?", his voice was hard.
"You know it very well...Khurramji, I am begging you once again. Please stop all this what you are doing with Tanvi. That girl is so innocent, and have two small children with her. It will be the end of her life, Khurramji. Why can't you understand it? For you, it would only be a physical thing...a craving for that girl...but for her, it's going to cost her life. You saw already, how Sanjoth is feeling now...right? Do we need the same situation like last time you did all of this?", she asked again.
"Well, consider this as a repayment of my debt for last time", he barked back.
"Ya'khuda...how can I make some sense to you? I am your wife Khurraji, do you remember that? You made me do all those bad things long back, and after Mehtaji's wife killed herself, you promised it would never happen in this life. And now, you are repeating it again...Khurramji, why? Why in ,.''s name you want this?", Safiya cried and gasped on the sofa.
"Begum, I told you before and repeating it again. If you don't want to follow what I am asking you to do, using the evidence that I have of you and Sanjoth, I will kill all the birds with just one shot. If not, I will give everyone their own breathing space. It's your call...pack your bags and leave", Khurram replied in cold, menacing tone that made her shiver with fear.
With no option left, Safiya did what she was told.
Hearing the calling bell, Tanvi opened the door to a sombre looking Safiya.
"Safiyaji, you going somewhere?"
"Yes, Beti. I have a marriage in my family and will be away for next two weeks"
"Oh, so Khurramji not going with you?", though it was a simple question, there were too many underlying meaning that both realised. Tanvi was scared that Khurram when alone, would try something...and Safiya was sad that she knew something would happen to the young and innocent mother.
"Yes, he is not. He don't like my relaitives"
"Take care and enjoy the wedding at least, Safiyaji"
"Sure Beti...and listen, I am sorry for everything. I know I broke your heart, and trust me, I will not do anything to harm you", when she said if, Safiya winced because she was literally going to do the opposite of what she just promised.
With that explanation, the older woman left, and Tanvi was alone. With questions looming above her head, Tanvi engaged herself to get the dinner and the rest ready for her family.
Sanjoth & Tanvi:
Even after the last night's eventful turn at Mehta's house, Tanvi was not willing to leave her life to misery. Despite all what happened, and whatever happening around her, it was the positive mindset that kept her lightyears apart from her husband. She still found a ray of hope to become the family there were...once...she was set to work towards that goal, even if that means role-play or a bit of sleaze to satisfy her husband.
Then she heard Sanjoth's footsteps walking in and was surprised to see him back earlier than usual.
"Everything okay?", she asked for the sake of asking.
"You should know better?", he replied with a retort.
"Listen, Sanju. I asked because of my concern. Nothing else. And, if you want to start a fight again, please don't", she replied and closed the kitchen door.
Next day morning, Tanvi woke up to some rustling sounds in her bedroom.
"Are you going somewhere?", she asked Sanjoth, who was already dressed and closing his travel bag.
"Yes, I decided that we both need a bit of time alone to cool off this problem that we have now and for next two weeks, I'lI will be away", he replied without looking at her and their kids sleeping next to her.
"Why, Sanju? It's you who don't want to listen and talk. Stay with us, and let's work this out together"
"Together?, No Tanvi. Things have crossed lots of boundaries recently that I think we need some time off"
"And, you decided it without discussing it with me?"
"There's nothing to discuss, Tanvi. I am leaving, and in the meantime, you think to yourself", without waiting for her answer, he simply walked out of the bedroom and their house.
Tanvi sat on her bed absolutely stunned and shocked, she felt like crying, but held. This wasn’t the time to feel sorry for herself. She had more important things in life than handling Sanjoth's stupid logic. She started with cooking for kids and then saw Sharda coming in. Though with discomfort, Tanvi allowed the maid to get in and clean up the house.
A bit later, once the kids left for study, she saw Sharda standing in the kitchen and crying.
"Are you okay, Sharda? What happened?", worriedly, Tanvi asked the maid.
"Didi, first of all, I am so sorry for all the bad things that happened because of me", Sharda sobbed.
"It's alright Sharda, I told you not to worry about all that. Is there anything else that's worrying you? Kids? Dattu? Or his Mother maybe?", Tanvi was genuinely worried for her maid.
"Thank you Didi, you are an angel. I know very well about what I did, and what I asked last time. It all started that night, when you came looking for me to Basti, to Protimaji's house. Since then, she has been forcing me to take you there...she is a bad, very bad woman, that Protimaji", Sharda washed all her tears out.
"Oh my God. Look Sharda, I told you then, and now also...I am not such a woman who would do something like what Protima asked me to. Okay. So, if there is anything other than that, let me know, and if I can help, I will", Tanvi was suddenly tense when she thought of the fateful night when she was almost dragged into prostitution.
"Didi, now she is asking me one thing. Please listen...and you are the only one who can help me...and I was thinking so much about it...how to ask"
"What is it, Sharda?", Tanvi was restless.
"Didi, next week, the Basti people are celebrating our annual Devi Puja. For that day, usually by evening, women have to conduct Puja, this happens at Protimaji's house. She is asking me to take you there that night, and participate in the Puja", Sharda looked sideways to check Tanvi's reaction.
A horrified Tanvi exclaimed..."What! No...no way I am coming there and taking part in anything such. It's your Basti and your Celebration...I have nothing to do with it"
"Didi, please listen. That night, Women at Basti are regarded as Devis and men will pay their respects to us. All we have to do is sit there, and accept their gifts and show our blessings, that's all", Sharda made it very convincing.
"And, nothing else?"
"Nothing else Didi. Please...help me by coming there and Protima will help me back for this"
"No, I cannot do it, Sharda", Tanvi's answer was firm.
"Didi, please...think of my Children...Dattu doesn't care if we live or die, that's why I had to service Protimaji. If this happens, then I am free from her clutches...help me", Sharda begged during her cries.
"Still, I cannot. Sharda, if the work is finished, you can go. I cannot help you in this mess", Tanvi nodded her unacceptable and moved aside to show her maid the way outside.
With nothing more to ask, a dejected and angered Sharda went out of Tanvi's apartment.
Around afternoon, when she was about to have lunch, Tanvi heard a commotion outside her home, at the parking lot. Then she heard loud noises nearing her apartment. Within seconds, there were arguments and shouting outside at the small veranda. To check what it was, Tanvi opened her door and peeked outside.
"There she is! The whore of this place. All my wife asked for some help, and this rich woman didn't want to help...afterall, we are poor. She don't even consider us as humans, bitch!!!", it was Dattu, standing outside her locked house grille seething venom, and Harilal, the security guard trying to pull him away.
The two men stood almost fighting, as Dattu continued spitting more venom on a perplexed looking Tanvi.
"What is happening here, Harilal?", the loud and heavy sound of Khurram resonated in the small confined area. They all saw him descending down through the steps like an amazon warrior. The moment Khurram walked in and joined, Dattu went quiet.
The next moment, Tanvi gasped when she looked at Khurram, using his muscular arms, folding Dattu like a paper, and pushing the frail man out to the parking lot. With one bark, he kicked the Milkman out and asked Harilal not to allow Dattu inside their apartment complex anymore. Once the situation got controlled, Khurram walked back where Tanvi stood behind her house grille.
"No thank you for saviour, Beti?", he smiled at Tanvi and asked.
"Oh...sorry...thank you Khurramji...if you wouldn't have done it, I don't know what that Dattu would have done today", she was genuinely thankful to the old man.
"You can offer me a good Coffee then", he smirked.
"Oh sure...yes, yes. Please come in", without having any doubts, Tanvi opened the door to the vile old man.
It was only when she reached the Kitchen and started heating water for Coffee that she realized what she just did.
Safiya was not at home!
Sanjoth was not at home!
Children were away at their study!
"I am totally alone with Khurramji! Uw'nante'kamisama!! My-God!!...Tanvi's brain froze when that single cognitive affirmation of her reality. That truth detonated inside her head, shaking her entire substance. It forced millions of pores on her skin to open up and shudder with horror and the next second, every last of her hair-follicles stood erect and landed a hard punch into her stomach. She felt herself lurching from that visceral blow in her gut that immediately turned her horror into a kinetic shock, a volcanic tsumami of dread that left her cold and shaking!
She was alone...all alone...absolutely alone...with no living soul except...Khurramji...less than few feet away...
During that few moments of hallowed silence, the suffocating fact coiled around her throat like a cold serpent; squeezing the last ounce of air from her chest...
Tanvi saw the light in her eyes fading out due to the menacing scourge she underwent!
Her lips opened to scream...except the wish in her head to cry for help...no voice came out of the young mother!
She felt a demonic presence behind her!
Tanvi failed to sense anything other than the numbing chill that consumed her, leaving her standing helpless and shivering to that intimidating cold terror...!
