Even forward.........
Raja Saheb was sitting with his best friend in that room of the city's 5-star hotel, but there was a young man in the room besides them.
"Yash, this is Manish. He's investigating your case. And this is Raja Yashveer Singh, Manish."
Manish greeted him, and Raja Saheb nodded in response, looking at the young man intently.
"Don't go by his age, Yash. He's one of my most capable men." Dushyant Verma then addressed Manish, "Manish, now give us the entire report."
"Yes, sir."
Manish began, "Sir, I investigated all the places in Rajpura and the city where Kunwar Sahib frequented. Initially, I couldn't find any clues about who supplied him with drugs. I investigated through my informants in the city and found that no local dealer had ever dealt with him. Besides, these dealers wouldn't go to a small place like Rajpura. Losing thousands of rupees for one man's business—it didn't make sense." Pausing for a moment, Manish took a sip of water.
"...I focused my attention on Rajpura. I learned that Kunwar used to go to tribal villages to buy Mahua liquor. And by sheer luck, I stumbled upon a major clue. The tribals told me that besides Kunwar, there was another urban man who used to buy Mahua from them. They had once seen him sitting in a car and talking to Kunwar. When I inquired about his appearance, name, etc., I couldn't find anything specific."
"...Then one day, I went to those tribal to follow up on this clue. A tribal man who worked in the city was sitting there, taking photos with his mobile camera. When his phone developed some problem, he showed it to me. When I checked, I found that the memory was full. I told him that some photos would have to be deleted."
"...He said he would tell me and I should delete the photos. While deleting the photos, my eyes fell on one photo. It showed a fair-skinned urbanite. All the other photos were of tribal people, so who was this urbanite?" Raja Saheb was listening intently to Manish.
"...That tribal person told me that this was the man. And this is the photo, sir." Manish turned on his laptop and turned the screen towards Raja Saheb. In the photo, three tribal people were sitting and laughing, and in the corner behind the photo was the urbanite. The man's face was imprinted in Raja Saheb's mind.
"What guarantee is there, Manish, that this stupid person is a drug dealer?"
"This, Raja Saheb." Manish held out a small packet containing a capsule. Brought to by Maitri.
"It once fell from his pocket, and a tribal man selling Mahua kept it, thinking it was medicine, and then forgot about it. When I heard about this man, he remembered it and asked me about this 'medicine.'"
"Well done, Manish. I'm proud of you." Dushyant Verma patted him on the back. Maitri's creation.
"Manish, you've done a wonderful job. We want you to help us find this man." Raja Saheb shook his hand.
"Sir, is this even worth saying? I won't rest until I find out."
"...But Yash, who could this Dofa ( A teasing word in local language like motherfucker) be? That same companion of Jabar?"
"I don't know, Dushyant, I'm not understanding. Jabbar's business is supposedly property dealing, but his real job is selling disputed properties, forcibly seizing someone's property and extorting money from them. It's famous that he has a bunch of keys in his pocket that can open any lock in the world." Raja Saheb picked up the glass and drank water.
...but the sister fuck, drugs...I don't understand them either. I've seen the man in this picture for the first time. But my gut feeling is that he's connected to Jabbar. But how?"
"Manish will find out. Don't worry. Let's eat something."
Your friend, Maitri...keep reading and keep giving your suggestions...
That's it for today.
