I completely agree with your view — in the end, the wife is actually proving her husband Prem right about his doubts regarding 'Nature' (human nature / the outside world).

The situation is painfully simple now: Prem was always right about the dangers surrounding her. I don’t blame Prem at all for having such a shameless, unfaithful wife.

He never truly doubted his own wife’s character in the beginning. His suspicion was never about her loyalty — it was about the leeches, the opportunists, the predatory men lurking around who were waiting for the slightest chance to take advantage of her innocence or beauty. That’s why he tried so hard to protect her, to keep her safe from those bad characters, even if it sometimes looked like control or possessiveness in her eyes.

She called him controlling, insecure, and overbearing. But look at what happened — by cheating on him, she has unintentionally validated every single warning he ever gave. 

She has proven that Prem’s caution about the world and the people in it was completely justified.
In trying to blame him and break free from his 'restrictions,' she walked straight into the very trap he had always feared and tried to shield her from. 

How ironic and how heartbreaking!!

Glad you noticed it.. When husbands warning are ignored.. she overlooked and got into a trap.. imagine now Prem coming to know about this.. will She admit her mistake.. no she will gaslight him that he was the reason.. so only when she gets the burn herself.. she would realize her mistake.. i cannot answer a lot question which would spoil your reading experience.. but let the predictions come in :) sometimes its totally far from what i was having in my mind i enjoy this process. lets see how it goes
