As time passed, she learned to her amazement, that Mahesh, like her Brijesh had just turned forty-one years old. Komal was amazed. When Brijesh had been in his twenties and thirties, he was physically fit and looked great, but now that he was in his forties, he was starting to look more like his age. On the other hand, Mahesh's perfect physique made him look many years younger. Unlike the others, he did not seem to have a significant other, but he did mention dating from time to time. But with Mahesh, she was so attracted to him; she just did not want to be in a situation where she was not in total control. So, while she enjoyed the mildly sarcastic banter, and while she loved playing practical jokes on him, she was careful to stick to the role of devoted wife and mother who had no real interest in anyone other than her husband.
