your point noted , but my character is around 55-60 age old , 6'2 ' inch guy , who manages guest house in small city, he is not simple old person from village who does not know google , it is default search engine is all android phones used in India .

Even dodhwala, sabzhiwala , servants everybody now uses Phones and all associated apps in india . maybe what you envision kareem is little different than what i see as you will come to know him better  in later on chapters .

Well a suggestion comes.... for that particular act.... ke buddhay nay phone nikala aur Google kiya......to this Anita could have reacted, wah aapko google use karna ata hai???..... followed by the explanation you just gave above abt his history. 
A counter reaction/question from Anita at that instant would help establish his capability as you described.
