Chapter 40 – The Bangalore Surprise




Rohan continued

“Nivi… the client meeting — we can sign fast. Then you and Prem tour Bangalore. Return next immediate flight. Don’t want to leave Aara alone long.”

Nivi turned, surprised — warmth spreading.
“Yes… she has quarterly exams coming.”
Rohan nodded. “Good. Family first.”
Nivi smiled — warm, grateful, eyes softening.
"Thanks for understanding."

They entered their cabins for work — routine, focused.

Rohan, alone in his office, called Aadhil.

"Risky… client sensitive. If they smell shopping around, trust gone. But for you, I'll push. Quietly."
Rohan: "Good. Make it convincing. Big enough to excite."

Nivi recalled Rohan's warnings about doubts.

"No… just want to spend day outside with you. Place we never went."

Prem: "What about Aara?"

"She has exams. We returned immediately in night or early morning... I will ask Rohan to handle business after I sign."
Prem mind twisted the moment he get invite from his wife to Bangalore… may be we can visit the client directly when she is at business… plus time with wife.

One stone two mango he overjoyed but he decided to keep about the new opportunity hidden from Nivi. if he cracked this it could be his first big client not taken with help of Nivi or Rohan.



Next day.
Nivi informed Rohan — Prem agreed.

She asked, voice light. "Can you manage when I go out with Prem?" She wanted a reassurance so her plan with her hubby her love can go smoother

Rohan: "Yes. Pretty sure."

Two days passed — no iota of tension.
Everything smooth.
Normal.

But he felt her diverted — Nivi beside him, mind elsewhere.

Nivi's face transformed — smile breaking wide, genuine, eyes lighting up like sparks, cheeks flushing soft pink.
