Adultery Life of Avi Singh
## Update 151: The Confrontation and the Fix (Avi, Pooja Bua, and Rohan)

We walked back to the house, Rohan awkwardly wheeling his bike with the flat tire, and knocked on the gate. Pooja Bua opened it, her expression shifting from curiosity to suspicion as she saw Rohan. We all quickly went inside and sat down in the hall.

"Who is he, Sweta?" Pooja Bua asked sharply, her eyes fixed entirely on Rohan.

Sweta Didi opened her mouth to start the "broken bike" lie, but I cut her off immediately, deciding that honesty—or at least, a strategic version of it—was the fastest way forward.

"He's Rohan," I said, my voice loud and firm, facing Bua directly. "Sweta Didi's boyfriend. He came here to meet Sweta Didi, but his bike broke down. Now he can't go back, so Sweta Didi brought Rohan here to stay tonight. Sweta Didi and Rohan love each other and want to be together."

I delivered the entire speech in one sudden, breathless rush. Sweta Didi, Rohan, and Sital all stared at me in profound shock. Everyone was stunned to hear that I had just dropped the entire truth about Sweta Didi and Rohan on Pooja Bua without warning. Sweta Didi's face was pale with shock, while Pooja Bua's face was slowly filling with cold, dangerous anger.

Pooja Bua fixed her gaze on Sweta Didi and Sital. She didn't speak; she just looked at them with pure rage. No one knew what to do or say, the tension was suffocating.

"Sweta, Sital," Pooja Bua finally said, her voice dangerously low. "You two go to your room now."

"Mammi..." Sweta Didi started, trying to plead her case.

Pooja Bua slammed her hand on the arm of the sofa. "I said go inside! So go inside!" she yelled, the anger finally erupting.

Sweta Didi and Sital scrambled off the sofa and quickly went to their room. Now only I, Raj, Rohan, and Bua remained in the hall.

Pooja Bua turned her fierce attention back to me. "Avi, are you telling me the truth about this boy?" she demanded.

"Yes, Rohan and Sweta Didi love each other very much," I replied steadily.

Bua glared at Rohan. "You're still sitting here! Get out of my house right now!" Rohan jumped up immediately, scared by Pooja Bua's harshness, and started moving toward the door.

"Rohan, sit down!" I commanded. "Where are you going? I'll talk to Bua." Rohan, completely confused, simply nodded and sat back on the sofa, his eyes wide.

"Raj, please give Rohan a glass of water," I instructed my younger brother. "I need to talk to Bua privately."

I took Bua's arm and led her quickly to her room, closing the door behind us.

"What is the meaning of all this, Avi?" Pooja Bua hissed, her voice filled with anger and betrayal. "Get him out of my house immediately!"

"First, please, listen to me calmly," I said, meeting her gaze. "Then whatever you decide will happen, I promise."

She took a shaky breath, crossing her arms tightly. "Say what you want to say, then," she conceded, her voice softening only slightly.

"Sweta Didi and Rohan want to get married," I stated clearly. "I have learned that Rohan is a very good boy. They both care for each other deeply, and Sweta Didi can only be happy if she is with Rohan." I leaned in, lowering my voice persuasively. "Do you know why Rohan is here? We called him here by lying that Didi had an accident! Look how fast he came to the village, panicking to meet Sweta Didi! Rohan loves Sweta Didi more than his own life. Rohan will keep Sweta Didi happy. Just say yes, Bua."

I added the practical incentive. "I'll tell you one more thing: Rohan's father has a massive clothing business. His family has a huge business presence in the city. They are important, big people. Sweta Didi will be happy and she will rule there."

I strategically wove in details of her recent misery: I told her some things from yesterday, mentioning how crazed Sweta Didi was, crying over Rohan. Then I quickly told her about their three years of love in the city, adding in some exaggerated details about the family wealth to make Bua seriously consider the proposal.

"All this talk about love and business is fine," Pooja Bua said, her expression still worried. "But you'll be responsible for all of this if something goes wrong later. What if they don't like Sweta once they meet us? What if Rohan's father flatly refuses to marry them?"

"Is that all you are worried about?" I asked, smiling confidently. "Simple. We will go to Rohan's house tomorrow morning and talk to his family directly. If they like Didi and agree, it's settled. If they don't, we will tell Didi that she must forget Rohan forever. We will know their intention tomorrow."

"Yes, that plan sounds manageable," Pooja Bua said, nodding slowly.

"So you agree to meet them?" I asked, a wide smile spreading across my face.

"First, I want to ask Rohan some questions myself," she said, her expression serious. "Then, I will give my final word."

"Yes, why not?" I replied immediately.

Bua and I came back to the hall.

"What is your full name, son?" Pooja Bua asked Rohan, her voice now calm and investigative.

"Rohan," he replied, standing up straight.

"Who all are in your immediate family?" Pooja Bua asked.

"In my family, there's my Mammi and Papa, my Bhabhi (sister-in-law), my elder brother who passed away, my other brother Sohan, who's currently doing his engineering. Sohan is older than me. After him, it's me. And my oldest sister lives in another city with her husband," Rohan recited clearly.

"What does your father do for a living?" Pooja Bua asked, getting to the key detail.

"We have a clothing business in the city," Rohan replied. "I'll also join the business after finishing my studies."

"Do your parents know you came here today?" Pooja Bua asked, her most crucial question. "Do they know about Sweta? Will they agree to a marriage?"

"Yes, Mammi and Papa have all met Sweta socially," Rohan said. "But Mammi and Papa don't know the depth of our love. They just think we are close friends. But Bhabhi and Sohan know everything about Sweta and me. Bhabhi will definitely convince Mammi and Papa."

"Okay," Pooja Bua said, a decision made. "I want to meet your parents at your house tomorrow morning."

"You can meet them whenever you want, Bua," Rohan said immediately.

"I want to meet them tomorrow," Pooja Bua stated firmly.

"Okay," Rohan agreed quickly. "I'll call Bhabhi and tell her that we are coming tomorrow to visit."

Pooja Bua looked at me. "Avi, you will sleep in Raj's room with Rohan tonight. You will stay with him."

"Yes, Bua," I said, nodding.

Sweta Didi and Sital came rushing out of their room, having listened through the door to the entire conversation.

"Sweta, Rohan will be staying here tonight," Pooja Bua announced.

Sweta Didi let out a squeal of pure joy and immediately hugged Pooja Bua, tears of gratitude springing to her eyes.

I leaned toward Rohan and whispered in his ear, a triumphant smirk on my face. "You're in luck, Rohan."

Rohan squeezed my arm in thanks. "All this is only because of you, Avi," he whispered back. "Thank you."
