## Update 123: The Chachi's Knowing Smile and the City Trip (Avi and Meena Chachi)
After dropping Riya home, I accepted a cup of tea. The sweet, milky liquid did little to calm the residual ache in my lunď and the intense exhaustion clinging to my muscles. I then went to the fields once more. I walked around the mango groves for a while, just checking on things. Today, I was surprised to see Mona working alongside Kamala Kaki. A rush of genuine happiness hit me, dissolving some of the fatigue. But I was utterly spent after fucking Riya's ganď today. My body felt like a dead weight. So, I came back home without even attempting to talk to Kamala Kaki or Mona. I was in no rush; I knew I could easily convince Mona to fuck when the time was right.
I reached my house at 7:00 PM. The moment I walked into my room, Meena Chachi followed me in, her eyes glinting with amusement.
"You're coming back after fucking someone," Meena Chachi stated, leaning against the door frame, her expression knowing.
I was completely shocked after hearing Chachi's direct question. My heart gave a hard, sudden kick against my ribs. I felt the blood rush to my face. My mouth went dry instantly. My palms felt cold and damp with sweat. I struggled to breathe normally for a moment.
"How do you know that I'm coming back after fucking?" I managed to ask, my voice a thin croak, barely a whisper.
"This is the first time you've gone to the fields when Chacha isn't here, and you've also taken a bag with you," Meena Chachi explained, her voice low and knowing, pushing off the door. She then lunded her head, smiling. "You took a bedsheet in the bag, didn't you?"
"You even know that I took a bedsheet in the bag?" I asked, my surprise mounting, shaking my head slightly at her cleverness. She truly saw everything.
"After you left, I came to your room to get some fresh clothes and I saw that the bedsheet wasn't on the bed," Meena Chachi said, walking toward me, her eyes locked on mine. "From that, I easily figured out that you took a bedsheet to the fields for fucking."
"You figure out everything," I admitted, shaking my head and smiling reluctantly.
"I have to, Avi. Who else will look out for you?" she countered, reaching out to squeeze my arm lightly. "Leave that now; tell me, are you really coming back after doing a jungle romance with someone?" Meena Chachi asked, her expression softening with maternal curiosity, her voice warm.
I sunk onto the bed and told Meena Chachi everything about Riya, the ganď-fucking, and the painkiller trick.
"It seems like you're exhausted after the fucking," Meena Chachi observed, seeing the fatigue weighing on me, watching me sink onto the mattress.
"Yes," I confirmed with a heavy sigh, nodding slowly.
"You rest now. Let me go wash the bedsheet quickly," Chachi said, picking up the now empty bag from the floor. She gave me one last gentle smile before leaving the room, and I closed my eyes, falling instantly into a deep, hazy dream world.

Days passed in a comfortable routine. Riya eventually left for her mama's house as planned. I would fuck Rati sometimes in the afternoons, enjoying her eagerness. I continued to talk to Kamala Kaki in the fields, but I could not get a moment alone to talk to Mona. Kamala Kaki was always glued to her side. The month of April also came to an end.
On May 2nd, the results of Raj, Kavita, and Leena were announced. Everyone secured good marks, which brought a festive mood to the household. Neeta Bua's son, Rajesh, was away at a summer camp this time, so he had not come to the village for the holidays.
One day, Kavita, Leena, Komal, Raj, and I were playing at Pooja Bua's house. The conversation drifted to the cousins we had not seen yet.
"Bua, Sweta and Sital Didi haven't arrived from the city yet. Did their exams not end on time?" I asked, skipping the ball and looking over.
Pooja Bua was sitting on the veranda, stitching. "Oh, Sweta's exams are still going on. Sital's exams are finished, but Sital said she would come to the village with Sweta."
"By now, Sweta Didi's exams should definitely have been over," I said, frowning slightly, thinking about the delay.
"The teachers went on strike in her college, that's why the exams were postponed for a week. Today is actually her last paper," Pooja Bua explained, biting a thread and pulling it tight.
"That means Sweta Didi will surely come tomorrow, then," I said excitedly, my spirits lifting.
"Not tomorrow, Avi, she's going to come after three days," Pooja Bua corrected me, shaking her head gently.
"Why not tomorrow? If the exams are over," I asked, tilting my head, confused by the new delay.
"Sweta has some work at college, arranging for her next semester's tuition or something. She'll come after that work is fully done," Pooja Bua replied, putting her needle back into the cloth.
"It'll be so much fun when she comes," I said, already imagining the games and laughter we would share.
Pooja Bua suddenly set down her needlework, looking directly at me with a calculating look. "You do one thing, Avi."
"What is it, Bua?" I asked, walking closer to her, sensing a plan.
"You take Raj and go to Sweta's place in the city tomorrow. They need you. Then, after three days, you come back to the village with Sweta and Sital. And anyway, they'll have a lot of stuff from the hostel and college, so you can help them carry everything back. What do you say?" Pooja Bua asked, her suggestion sounding perfectly logical and helpful, a bright idea.
"I'll ask Chachi and let you know tonight," I replied, considering the sheer freedom the city would offer, feeling a surge of excitement.
"You can also explore the city for three days, Avi. It will be a good break for you," Pooja Bua added, selling the idea perfectly, raising her eyebrows.
"Okay. I'll go with Raj tomorrow morning," I agreed, a thrilling anticipation coiling in my stomach.
Pooja Bua immediately called out to Raj, who was kicking a ball nearby. "Raj, tomorrow you're going to the city with Avi." Raj instantly got happy hearing this, jumping up and down with delight.
That night, I told the family that Pooja Bua was sending me with Raj to bring Sweta back from the city. Suman Chachi got instantly sad hearing the news, her face clouding over.
"You're not going anywhere, Avi," Suman Chachi said firmly, crossing her arms, her jaw tight.
"Why, Didi?" Meena Chachi asked, sensing the disagreement, stepping closer to her sister.
"I'm saying it, and that is enough," Suman Chachi replied, her voice taut with worry, refusing to look at me.
"Oh, come on, Didi. Let him go. Avi will go to the city. He'll meet new people, see the sights, and explore. He'll surely like it," Meena Chachi argued gently, putting a reassuring hand on Suman Chachi's shoulder.
"What if he gets bad habits in the city? What if he likes the city life more than the village? What if he decides to just stay there and never come back?" Suman Chachi whispered, the fear of losing me finally spilling out, her eyes becoming watery.
"Nothing like that will ever happen, Didi. Our Avi will never leave us," Meena Chachi said with fierce loyalty, glancing at me, her voice ringing with certainty.
"Still, I worry," Suman Chachi muttered, looking down at her hands.
"Look, Didi, Avi has been in this village for six years now. He hasn't seen the city yet. What do you want? That Avi stays trapped in the village and just goes to the fields every day of his life?" Meena Chachi challenged, pushing the point, her voice clear and strong.
"I didn't say that!" Suman Chachi exclaimed, stepping back defensively, looking hurt.
"But that's what you're implying, Didi. Let Avi go. It will be a good experience. He'll enjoy it," Meena Chachi insisted, her expression pleading.
Suman Chachi sighed, defeated by her own affection. "Okay. Avi, you can go to the city," she conceded, her voice still holding a trace of sadness, her shoulders slumping a little.
I rushed forward and hugged Suman Chachi tight, feeling her love and worry wrapping around me. Then, I hugged Meena Chachi, feeling her strength and support. Finally, I hugged Seema Chachi, savoring the collective warmth and permission for my first big adventure. The city was waiting.
