As he continued to massage the balm into her skin, he noticed the soft rise of her breath, the way her chest gently expanded, and the subtle flinch she made when his fingers brushed the more sensitive parts of her leg.
 
It was as though she felt it too, the quiet electricity crackling in the air between them, the undeniable tension that had begun to build. Every brush of his fingers against her skin sent a thrill through him. It was hard to ignore how smooth she felt, how silky the curve of her calf was beneath his hands.
 
Her gaze never wavered from him, and Ravi could feel the weight of her eyes on him, heavy with emotions he couldn’t quite decipher.
 
There was something there, something he couldn’t name, but it made the air between them feel impossibly close.
 
The warmth of her body seemed to fill the room, her scent, jasmine, soft and intoxicating, lingering in the air like a dream he couldn’t escape. “What is this? Why does it feel so intimate?”
 
His breath hitched as he continued to rub the balm into her skin, his fingers moving in slow, deliberate strokes, as though he were memorizing the feel of her body beneath his touch.
 
Every motion felt too intimate, too personal, and yet, it was as though he couldn’t stop himself. She was so close, her leg resting so perfectly in his lap, that it was impossible not to feel the tenderness in the moment, and the desire that pulsed under the surface.
 
Priya’s eyes softened as he applied the balm, and for a fleeting moment, Ravi wondered if she could feel the current of longing that was flowing between them, the subtle shift in the air, like the delicate balance before a storm.
 
His pulse quickened, and he fought the urge to lean in closer, to kiss her, to take this moment beyond the confines of care and into something darker, something more.
 
But the conflict, the overwhelming mix of guilt and desire, kept him rooted to the spot, unsure how to proceed, unsure if he had any right to.
 
“What am I doing? Is this wrong?” he wondered, even as his body begged to answer with action, not words.
