(The scene opens with Lata suckling Myra's breast. Myra strokes her hair for a moment longer, then gently but firmly pushes the girl’s head away.)
Myra: That is enough devotion for now. Your soul is mine, I am satisfied. But your body has a debt to pay. It is time for you to serve your new master.
(Lata looks up, dazed and terrified, from Myra to Sagar. Sagar’s eyes are burning with a raw, possessive hunger she has never seen before.)
Sagar: Is she ready, my love? Is my gift prepared for me?
Myra: She is. You may do with her as you wish, but remember our agreement. I am the director of this play.
Sagar: Of course. I am merely an actor on your stage.
(He reaches out and grabs Lata by the arm, his grip firm. He easily pulls her from her side and pushes her flat onto her back in the center of the bed.)
Sagar: On your back, girl. Legs open. I want to inspect the property I now own.
(Lata lets out a small cry but obeys without a fight, her body moving on instinct and fear. She spreads her trembling legs. Kishore, still in the doorway, makes a fist so tight his knuckles are white.)
Sagar: (looking down at her) Look at that, Myra. Perfect. Untouched. You've given me a rare and precious thing. A virgin.
Myra: Purity is a beautiful thing, my love. Mostly because of the pleasure one takes in destroying it. You will be her first and her only. A great privilege.
Sagar: Indeed.
(He positions himself between her legs, his erection thick and ready. He looks at Lata’s face, which is a mask of pure terror.)
Myra: Now, Lata. Listen to me. Your Sahib is about to make you a woman. You will not scream. You will not fight. You will not cry. You will take him inside you and you will thank him for the honor he is giving you. Do you understand?
Lata: (a tear slips from the corner of her eye and rolls down her temple) Yes, Memsahib.
Myra: (to Sagar) You may begin, my love. Enter her. Slowly. I want to see the moment she becomes yours.
