I have no intention of debating Sonarika and Hemant's emotions and current decisions at length, as I am neither a psychologist nor a psychiatrist.
It is not my place to pass judgement or point the moral finger.
The author has chosen this approach, which I accept and welcome without reservation.
It is important to be aware that this is fiction and not real events!
The bottom line is to convey to the author through our comments and opinions that we appreciate his work and, as readers, are captivated by its fascination.
I can see that the author appreciates this recognition and is very pleased about it.
Criticism should serve to improve the design, flow, content and events and provide positive impetus. However, this only works if it is constructive.
This also applies to mutual criticism among readers, which in some cases can develop into personal hostility.
After reading 20 chapters – especially the last one – I would say that Hemant would not have filed for divorce so quickly if Sonarika had shown more ‘tact’ and demonstrated more ‘sensitivity’.
In those crucial moments when she had the opportunity to explain certain aspects in a clear and understandable way, - but she unconsciously slammed the door that had been left open until then -, thereby ruining the situation.
Namely;
When Hemant told her to share the food she had brought, it was a signal that he was willing to listen and talk to her. However, she allowed Vikram to contact her and call her, “instead of blocking him during this turbulent time”.
The result: Hemant threw her out and shouted, “Get out!”
Blind and reckless as she was, she continued where she had left off.
Two days later, the same scenario played out in the bedroom when Vikram called her again.
The result: instead of an enlightening, possibly ice-breaking conversation and get-together, "Hemant moved into the guest room!".
Nevertheless, I remain convinced that the ‘Sonarika–Hemant’ episode is not over yet and that we are in for a number of unexpected twists and turns.
We shall see...
