To keep the story truly interesting (after that Iqbal debacle earlier), make Supriya "cheat" on Iqbal. Iqbal's personality is like Atul, nice guy. Supriya is a sl*t who enjoys sleeping behind the back. This core personality trait would keep it interesting. Make her have an affair with Pranav. It will add the religion seduction angle too!

I dont see it as a debacle, I think it opened up the story nicely. I have been able to frequent references to it.
