(The sun is bright. The air is fresh. Ananya, in black yoga pants and a form-fitting top, is finishing a complex yoga pose. She’s sweating a little, but looks calm and content. Nearby, Vikram sits on a bench, absorbed in a book, occasionally looking up. He’s dressed in comfortable jeans and a simple t-shirt.)

The other couple:
(Priya, in bright patterned leggings, and Rohan, in shorts and a loose t-shirt, walk past them, laughing. Priya sees Ananya.)

Priya: Wow! What great form!

Ananya: (Turning, smiling) Priya! You’re here too?

Priya: Yes! We come here daily. You?

Ananya: Me too. I dragged Vikram here today. (She gestures to Vikram, who gives a small, polite nod. He glances at Priya, then quickly back at his book.) Otherwise, he just stays in his books.

Rohan: (Chuckling) Every man is like this, Ananya. The wife has to bring them out into the fresh air.

Ananya: (Laughing) Looks like you’re also a victim of this ‘fresh air,’ Rohan.

Rohan: Not a victim! Lucky! Priya has improved my habits. (He winks at Priya, who playfully shoves him.)
(Priya now looks at Vikram, who has put his book down. He looks at Priya, then at Ananya, a slight blush on his face.)

Priya: Vikram, you are sitting so quietly. Bored with our talks?

Vikram: No, no, Priya. Just listening. You guys have good energy.

Ananya: (Lightly punching Vikram’s arm) Vikram is a bit reserved. It takes him time in social gatherings.

Rohan: No problem. He’ll warm up slowly. By the way, how long have both of you been doing yoga?

Priya: I’ve been doing it since college. He only started after me.

Ananya: Me too, for many years. It helps clear the mind. And the body feels amazing, doesn't it?

Priya: Absolutely! It’s like magic. And how is your ad agency work going, Ananya?

Ananya: (Smiling) It’s good. It’s a lot of work, but I love it. And what about you? What do you do?

Priya: I’m a graphic designer. It’s a lot of freelance work.

Rohan: And she’s very talented. By the way, Vikram, what about you? What do you do?

Vikram: (Looking up from his book) I’m an architect.

Rohan: Oh! That’s interesting. What are you reading?

Vikram: (Holding up the book) It's about urban planning.

Priya: You know, I just saw a book on architecture at the bookstore yesterday! It was so cool. The buildings on the cover were so pretty.

Vikram: (A rare, genuine smile) They are, aren’t they? It’s not just about pretty buildings though. It’s about how things are designed.

Priya: I know! I was telling Rohan the same thing! Sometimes I feel like Delhi needs a complete redesign.
(The two couples stand there for a moment, talking. A comfortable ease has settled between them. Ananya notices how Rohan’s eyes seem to linger on her, and how Vikram can’t seem to stop looking at Priya. It’s a quiet, electric moment.)
