மீரா அறையில் தன் துணி அவுத்து கண்ணாடி முன் முடியை சரி செய்து கொண்டிருந்தாள்; மார்கஸ் அமைதியாக வந்து அவளது இடுப்பை மெதுவாக தழுவினான்.

Marcus: So… what are our kids saying today? (என்ன சொல்றாங்க நம்ம குழந்தைகள் ?)

Meera : They said they miss their dad. (அவங்க அப்பாவை மிஸ்ஸ்பண்ணுறாங்கன்னு.)

Marcus : Dad’s here… but mom keeps ignoring him (அப்பா இங்கதான் இருக்கான்… ஆனா அம்மா அப்பாவை கவனிக்கவே மாட்டேங்கறா )

மீரா அவன் தழுவலில் சிறிது திரும்பி, சிரித்தாள்.

Meera : Maybe mom is busy keeping this family in order.(அம்மா இந்த குடும்பத்தையே சீராக வைத்திருக்க பிஸியா இருப்பாங்கோ என்னமோ )

Marcus : Ahh… same old bossy mom. Still beautiful though. (ஆஹா… அதே பழைய பாஸி அம்மா! ஆனா இன்னும் அழகுதான்)

Marcus : Our kids are crying, you know. (நம்ம குழந்தைகள் அழுதுட்டுருக்காங்க தெரியுமா?

Meera (smiling): “Why?(ஏன்?)

Marcus: They said, ‘Mom didn’t kiss Dad today.’ Poor babies…(அம்மா இன்று அப்பாவைக்கு உம்மா கூடுகலை !’ பாவம் குட்டீஸ்கள்…

மீரா சிரித்துக் கொண்டே அவன் பக்கம் சிறிது திரும்பினாள்.

Meera : Fine, just one. For the kids.(சரி சரி, ஒன்றே போதும். குழந்தைகளுக்காக மட்டும்.)

அவள் மெதுவாக நிமிர்ந்து அவன் வலது கன்னத்தில் ஒரு முத்தம் கொடுத்தாள்.

மார்கஸ் சிரித்தான்.

Marcus: “That’s it? Only one? We have three kids, remember?”(அவ்ளோதானா ஒன்னு ஒன்னா? நமக்கு மூணு பிள்ளைகள் தானே? பேபி )

Meera : Oh, you’re impossible! (ஆஹா! நீயே ஒரு பெரிய குழந்தை!)

சிரித்தபடியே அவள் அவன் இடது கன்னத்திலும் ஒரு முத்தம் கொடுத்தாள்.

Marcus : Hmm… two down, one more to go. (ஹ்ம்ம்ம்… இரண்டு முடிந்தது, இன்னும் ஒன்று பாக்கி.)

Meera (கண்களை உருட்டி, விளையாட்டாக):: “This dad is so demanding. (இந்த அப்பா ரொம்ப மோசம் )

மற்றொரு முத்தம் கொடுப்பதற்குப் பதிலாக, அவள் அவன் கன்னத்தில் கடித்தால் , சிரித்தபடி.

Meera: There — that’s the third one. Happy now? ( போதுமா மூன்றாவதும் முடிஞ்சது. இனி ஹேப்பியா?)

Marcus : Not bad, Mrs. Boss. (பரவாயில்லை, மிஸ்ஸஸ் பாஸ்.)

Meera (acting like his wife): Now go, or the kids will say Dad’s lazy too.(இப்போ போ, இல்லனா குழந்தைகள் ‘அப்பா சோம்பேறி’ன்னு சொல்லிடுவாங்க.)

மார்கஸ் சிரித்தபடி, இன்னும் அவளை மெதுவாக தழுவியபடி இருந்தான்.
meera : shhh என்ன இப்படி பண்ணுறீங்க
marcus : இப்படில பண்ண தான் மூணு குழந்தை நமக்கு
meera : நீங்களும் உங்க குழந்தையும்


Marcus: You know… we really do look like a married couple right now.
Meera: Married couple? Hmm… then I guess I’m the bossy wife, and you’re the obedient husband.
Marcus: Obedient husband… huh? That suits me fine. And what orders does my lovely wife have for me today?

Marcus (மெதுவாக, கிண்டலாக): Ready, wife?தயாரா பொண்டாட்டி ?

Meera (வெட்கமாக, கிண்டலாக): Always, husband.எப்போதும், புருஷா

Meera(மெதுவாக, கிண்டலாக) : Big man… you’ve been carrying me forever now. Don’t get tired.
மீரா : முரடன் … நீ ரொம்ப நேரமா தூக்கினே இருக்கிறாய். .

Marcus: (சிரித்தபடி, கிண்டலாக) I could carry you all day, baby … you make it easy.நான் நாள முழுவதும் உன்னை தூக்கி வைக்கும், நீ எளிதாக்குகிறாய்.

Meera (அமைதியாக, சந்தோஷமாக): Feels… nice, being held like this. Like a real couple.
மீரா : இப்படிப் பிடித்து இருக்கிறீங்கன்னா நல்லா இருக்கிறது… ஏதோ கணவன் மனைவி போல .

Marcus (மெதுவாக, கிண்டலாக): That’s because we are… in spirit, at least. The our kids would approve.
ஏன்ன்னா நாம்தான்… மனதில் ரொம்பத்தான். நம்ம குழந்தைகளும் இதை ஒப்புக்கொள்வாங்க.”

Meera (வெட்கமாக): You’re showing off your strength again, big man.
மீரா : மீண்டும் உன் வலிமையை காட்டுறீங்க, முரடா

Marcus (சிரித்தபடி): Only for you, wife.
மார்கஸ் : உனக்காக மட்டும்தான், பொண்டாட்டி .

Meera (மெதுவாக, கிண்டலாக): Big man… you’re spoiling me with this carrying.
மீரா : நீ என்னை இப்படி தூக்கினே,ரொம்ப தான்ஸ்டூடியோவின் மூலைல ஜாக் தனது ஸ்கெட்ச் வேலைக்குள் மூழ்கி இருந்தான். மார்கஸ் இன்னும் மீராவை தன் கரங்களில் தாங்கிக் கொண்டே நின்றிருந்தான். அந்த நிலைமையில் ஒரு இயல்பான நெருக்கமும் சிரிப்பும் ஒளிந்திருந்தது.

அந்த நேரம் எமிலி உள்ளே வந்து பார்த்தாள்.

Emily (teasing tone): Oh my god! You two really look like a married couple.

மீரா ஒரு நொடி மௌனமாய்ப் போனாள், பின் சிரித்தாள். அவள் கன்னங்கள் சிவந்துவிட்டது.

Marcus (smiling): See, even your friend thinks we’re a real couple, baby. பாரு உன் தோழி கூட தெரியுது உனக்கு தெரியல

மீரா தலை சாய்த்து சிரித்தாள்.
Meera (playful): “Big man, don’t start again…திரும்பவும் ஆர்மிக்காத

Marcus (teasing softly): What? We’re just too natural together, that’s all. நாம ரெண்டும் பெரும் இயற்கையை நல்ல ஜோடி

அவள் மெதுவாக அவனது தோளில் தலையை சாய்த்தாள், ஒரு நொடிக்கு. அந்த மென்மையான அண்மையில் சொல்லப்படாத உணர்ச்சி இருந்தது.

Meera (smiling softly): Maybe she’s right… We do look like one. ஒரு வேல அவ சொல்லுறது உண்மையா இருக்கலாம்
Marcus (grinning): “Then I’m the luckiest husband alive.” அப்போ இந்த உலகத்துல நான் ரொம்ப லக்கி ஆனா புருஷன்

அவள் சிரித்துக் கொண்டே அவனது தோளில் லேசாகத் தட்டினாள்,
Meera: Behave, husband .

Marcus (கிசுகிசுப்போல்): And you’re enjoying it, aren’t you, wife?
மார்கஸ் : பொண்டாட்டிக்கு தான் புடிச்சருக்கு புடிச்சருக்ககா ?


அன்றும் அதையே போல் இருவரும் அம்மணமாக ஒத்து கொள்வது போல் ஆனால் ஓக்காமல் கஞ்சியும் தண்ணியையும் இருவரும் பீச்சி அடித்துக்கொண்டு அணைத்து கொண்டு இருந்தனர்

ஆனால் இந்த முறை அவள் அவன் விருப்பத்துடன் செய்தால் ஆனால் அவள் அதை ரசித்தாள் வியந்தாள் ஏன் என்றால் கட்டுத்தனமா இருக்கும் ஒருவன் அவளை மென்மையாக அவள் நேசிக்கும் வகையில் கையாளானந்து அவளுக்கு புடிச்சருந்து ...


Studio-வில் soft light, warm atmosphere. Marcus மற்றும் Meera dressing room-ல்,

மார்கஸ் மீராவின் மெதுவாக பின்னாடி வந்து

Marcus: Mrs Marcus… Marcus Jr. says he wants a hug from Dad right now.

மீரா அந்த வார்த்தை கேட்டதும் வெக்கபட்டு விட்டாள், கன்னம் சிவக்க ஆனது.
