Nithi observed that Praveen was following them as he pretended to wander aimlessly looking for rides. She nudged Sukanya and spoke in a whisper.
Nithi: Hey, look there. Your Romeo seems to follow you everywhere.
Sukanya looked in the direction casually and found Praveen restlessly walking around looking everywhere, stealing glances at her. She smiled to herself very mildly.
Nithi: Someone seems to be happy.
Sukanya realized that Nithi was referring to her and Praveen.
Sukanya: Shut up. (Jokingly)
They did not realize that almost all the boys in their batch were also somehow doing the same. They were in different groups but maintained proximity to her. Vijay was no exception.

Sukanya was listening to almost the whole conversation. She was not shocked but felt weird hearing all that. That too someone talking all this to someone with whom he’s having an affair. Girl: What are you doing?
Boy: I wanted the chocolate.
Girl: You could have asked me. I would have given one.

They started eating. Nithi seemed to have bitten cloves. She looked around for water. Just then Vijay was crossing them.
Nithi: Hey Vijay.
He stopped and looked towards them. He had a water bottle in his hand.
Nithi: Would you mind giving me that water bottle? I feel like getting hiccups.
He walked towards them, opening the lid and handed the bottle to Nithi. She quickly drank some water and heaved a sigh of relief.
Nithi: You have saved my life. Had your lunch?
Vijay: Yeah, had mine.
Nithi: Then why don’t you sit for a while?
Sukanya looked at her suspiciously, but didn’t say anything. She trusted her, but she is also playing her. She just shrugged it off, gave a mild smile at Vijay and started eating. Vijay looked at both Nithi and Sukanya sharing one plate of biryani. He wished, one day he will be in the place of that biryani and both the girls would share him. The thought stirred him and felt butterflies in his stomach.
Vijay: You have joined the college quite some time back, but never got a chance to talk to you. Nice talking to you.
Sukanya: Yeah. Hope you are enjoying the trip.
Her response was customary, with a formality smile. She then started eating her food, but her mind recalled his description of her. She blushed inconspicuously. Vijay sat there and expected Sukanya to talk something, but she kept eating calmly. He looked at Nithi, but she also kept eating. He realized that he should try her some other time.
Vijay: Ok girls. Catch you up some other time.
Nithi: See you, Vijay.
Sukanya: See you, Vijay.
They quickly had their lunch. Sukanya lost confidence in Nithi, but didn’t want to abruptly react as she was not new to such deceits. She loved Vijay’s comments, but didn’t like to encourage any wily attempts. They proceeded to the next set of games. They enjoyed games like cinematic ride, fusion slide, etc. Next, they moved towards the tidal wave pool. As Sukanya walked towards the wave pool, she remembered her tryst with Sharat. She spotted the couple who played a naughty game behind the tree. They held their hands tightly and waited for the wave. As soon as the waved swept them, they embraced each other. Just as the wave receded, they moved apart, with just hands holding each other. Sukanya could guess what they would have done beneath the waves, as she was no stranger to such games. She felt goosebumps and blushed as she recalled the games she played with Sharath. She had missed many things in life and she wished if some of them could be fulfilled. She loved her husband the most, but was grateful to Sharath for giving her such unforgettable experience, and a few more. She kept watching the couple and put herself in the girl’s place. The place got crowded and she noticed that Nithi was missing. She looked around and spotted her in a corner with Vijay standing beside her as if by chance.
