Round Five – The Final Round
“Round five,” Neetu said, her voice husky from the lingering heat of their previous exchanges. “The last one.”
Her gaze lingered on Sirisha a beat longer than necessary, a playful, knowing glint dancing in her eyes.
Sirisha felt her cheeks flush under that scrutiny, the warmth in her chest spreading outward, curling through her like fire. A mix of shyness and a strange, budding anticipation bubbled within her.
Her heart thudded in her ears, and she nodded, though she didn’t entirely understand the depth of what was about to happen.
She knew the rules, but this, this was uncharted territory, a space that made her pulse quicken and her mind whirl.
“We'll toss for it,” Neetu continued, her tone light yet purposeful, pulling a worn silver coin from her pocket. “Heads, Ravi gets to finish this round the way he likes.”
Ravi chuckled, the sound deep and rich, a little darker now, tinged with excitement.
He leaned forward, resting his forehead against Neetu’s shoulder as she flipped the coin between her thumb and forefinger.
Sirisha could feel the air shift around them, thick with anticipation and heat. The coin landed with a soft clink, spinning briefly before settling on the couch, gleaming side upward.
“Heads,” Neetu declared, glancing at Ravi. Her smile curved, playful and full of knowing mischief. “Seems like you've won the right to take what's left.”
Ravi’s gaze flicked to Sirisha, and for a moment, everything else seemed to dissolve. His eyes were intense, magnetic, holding hers captive with a look so deep and purposeful, it made her breath catch.
There was something in his stare that made her feel both like an intruder and a privileged witness, invited into a secret world she wasn’t sure she was ready to enter.
“All right, beta,” Neetu murmured softly, leaning in to place a quick kiss on Sirisha's forehead. The gesture was tender, yet it made Sirisha’s heart race faster, her nerves tangling with desire and apprehension in equal measure. “Don’t worry, we’re not going to rush you.”
Her fingers brushed a stray strand of hair from Sirisha’s face, a motion so intimate it made her pulse flutter, offering a strange comfort, a feeling of being chosen for this moment.
