When Menaka opened her eyes, she found herself in a hospital room. Doctor Lata was sitting on a chair next to her.

 "How are you feeling now?" she asked lovingly while caressing her head.

Menaka now regained full consciousness and her hand went to her stomach.

 "Sorry, beta," Doctor Lata could only say this much. Tears started flowing from Menaka's eyes, so Doctor Lata lovingly hugged her. After a while, when she became silent, Doctor Lata said, "I will send Raja Saheb, he has not slept even for a minute since last night. He was waiting for you to regain consciousness." Saying this, she went out.

 Menaka remembered that it was Raja Saheb who had saved her last night. At that time, she was completely naked. So did Raja sahab look at her like that? Her eyes closed in shame. She still couldn't believe that her husband could become such a monster. She opened her eyes and looked around the room and saw one of her nighties in a dustbin on one side. "That means Raja sahab changed her clothes."

Just then the door opened and Raja Yashveer entered. Menaka lowered her eyes and her throat started choking again. Silence prevailed in the room for a while.

 Meenaka remained silent.

 "Bahu, since it hasn't been long since your marriage, according to the law, the hospital people have to inform the security officer that you have had a miscarriage." Raja sahab said in a trembling voice, "I want that-"

 "- I will not tell the security officer about your son's brutality, I will not, please leave me alone!" Menaka screamed and started crying. Her suppressed anger burst out.

 Rajasaheb ran to her and said while caressing her head, "No, Bahu, you are misunderstanding me. I was saying that you should tell the security officer the whole truth. Vishwa has committed a grave sin and he must be punished for it. If the security officer will not punish him, I will punish him with my own hands." Rajasaheb's voice became harsh.

 Maneka looked at her Sasurji (father-in-law )in shock. She was so wrong. Rajasaheb had so much influence in the area. If he wanted, he would never have allowed the security officer to come here. In fact, if someone else was in his place, the matter would have remained hidden within the walls of the palace.


Just then the door opened and Menaka's parents came in. Menaka's mother hugged her daughter, Menaka started crying again but she was getting a lot of support in her mother's lap. Her father's eyes were also moist.

 After a while when everyone calmed down a bit, Menaka's father Raja Arjun Singh asked about the whole incident, "How did all this happen, Raja Sahib?"

 Before Raja Sahib could speak, Menaka said, "My feet got stuck in the carpet and I fell, due to which I fell in such a way that mine-."

 "-The bride wants to save us from getting embarrassed and that is why she is lying." Raja Sahib said interrupting her and then he told the whole thing to Raja Arjun and his wife.
