Both A and B are interesting but on a story level A has more potential than B.  A has a kink to it while B feels vanilla. And this interfaith thing is actually a bullshit, writers tend to insult the faiths more often and loses the focus on the main story, it then becomes more of how low a writer can go insulting a faith. So brother if you are planning to write a new story then please go ahead with tye A leaving the interfaith thing aside.
