While I agree with your latter point as mentioned above, let me add that I think you are reacting too strongly to what doffy said. Atleast acknowledge the first part of what he said where he has rightly pointed to the overall trend of people taking offense too easily and choosing to object or even call for unjustified and unfair bans just bcoz it does not suit their morality. One must allow for the freedom of expression and if you are getting queasy or uncomfortable, do not read any further and move on, don't suddenly become the 'Messiah of Morality' when you yourself have willingly come to this site. You are also allowed to comment on it if its distasteful,surely have a view and express it, but do not take it to extremes by calling for bans and deletions.
Thats it,thats all I had to say. Though lengthy, I felt our dear friend doffy needed some support for his passionate expression of his views on this subject.
