why less registered members in this section?

I’m not sure about the idea of making stories available only to registered users, even for reading, as it could negatively affect overall site traffic. If traffic decreases, this could, in turn, reduce ad revenue, making it more difficult for the management to sustain the platform.  For that reason, I won’t comment further on this suggestion.  I do not know much about that.

That said, I do feel strongly that members who read should engage in some way. Whether by leaving a like or, better yet, posting a comment if they enjoyed or disagreed with something. Without that interaction, it becomes increasingly discouraging for writers to continue.

As a relatively new writer who started only a couple of months ago, I can share my own experience. I began a story titled The Swamij a few days ago. In the first two days, I received wonderful, encouraging comments and likes, but after that, the engagement dropped off completely. Since then, I’ve felt as though I’m simply posting updates without knowing if anyone is actually following along. The excitement I had at the beginning, to develop the story in the best possible way, is gradually fading. I’m still pushing myself to provide regular updates, but it’s not easy to maintain that same enthusiasm without proper feedback. After all, feedback is the only reward a writer can expect and receive for the effort and time they invest.

I believe this may be the reason why many writers start with good intentions but quickly lose momentum. Some stories even go unnoticed before their central idea has a chance to unfold. Naturally, this discourages writers and reduces the overall stories we get to see on the platform, as others have also pointed out.

Again, I am new here and this is my first time participating in a public discussion, so if I have said anything wrong or out of place, please excuse me.
