Thanks for sane discussion on your thoughts and glad to read them, nothing wrong in taking name as long as your intention is to just discuss to enlighten me and not make fun of other's perspective.
man, i think you had missed few episodes here, Sona already had that dream way earlier, so the benefit of doubt you are wanting for her is not rightly justified according to the story plot (which is my pov may harry knows better).
No I did not miss it, I know she already had that dream before but the realization did not come until the last one else she wouldn't have decided to reveal her betrayal herself, Its like I said for two things
1 she wants herself to be freed of the guilt that's eating her from inside.
2. She genuinely believes Hemanth is a good person and she doesn't deserve him so she doesn't want to keep cheating him and keep insulting him so she wanted to come clean.
And I wasn't giving her benefit of doubt, Her confession is not make her crime any less, its a usual conversation that happens when a couple ends things badly that should clear lot of things for readers, maybe that would come later but my thoughts that I initially put were to have it here for writer so it makes more sense..at least for me, That's fine if others wouldn't agree to it.
again, you are missing the point here, read this again
Again, I never said she doesn't deserve it nor this attempt at pointing out to see more conversations before the split is not to ease her from her crime. It is to bring a proper conclusion before they split so every episode we do not see this confrontation which will be a subdued expressions of guilt from Sonarika while Hemanth's hardened expressions, it will continue to be that way unless both move on, But I guess I got my answer from recent post from Harry, according to his story Sonarika is not supposed to move on from Hemanth and there lies my answer I was seeking. I was expecting her to be independent off both Hemanth and Vikram to be able to realize her mistake and grow as a better person to be able to be in a position in future where when she seeks a partner again, she will be deemed to be worthy for that person whether be it Hemanth again or Vikram. Hence I was asking for a clean break. If the story is going to be taking shape where Sonarika will continue to whine and weep for Hemanth all through her growth then so be it.
you are contradicting your own words man, you already know it still don't want to accept it
You do not make sense, either point out what I was contradicting or Make me see sense, blank statements are not worth it.
let me put it this way -
man and women compare love of the partner or i say judge it on very different scale, for men if his partner sleep with other then it will be the clear indication of the trust love that he was holding for her vanished in the thin air just like that he start blaming himself doubting on everything, same for women they judge on the feeling and amount of value the partner had or given ( why it is this way there are number of research paper published you just google it {{everyone knows it deep down, even myself - how much i am be the me but it was there and it will always be there till there will be no men- men left as per the new study that recently came out}}), the trauma for both is similar as per their upbringing but the recovery time period from it depends on person to person bases means how many options are available what is the surrounding of the person etc..etc...despite this the love (- it was very subjective term, even gods can't define what is actually the love some says it was the total acceptance without asking any thing in return, some say it was total surrender etc.... ) or which i prefer to say is the "feel of the person" will always be there (some studies suggest it took around 8 years to overcome it, but i believe it will never be lost we just buried it deeper day by day)
So, it will be subjective, we can't question Harry's thought process in which he wrote the chapter on the feeling of sona, as i already mentioned male author can't depict the perfect female character on every aspect. we have to read between the lines what he wants to say.
Agreed, I am not demeaning his writing but posting an opinion is not wrong, Its just a different alternative way to think off the way outcome is presented based on every one who is hooked onto the story. Imagine, if Sonarika says to Hemanth, If you have ever loved me , please listen to me and then she continues to explain where she got lost and how she felt what was missing and explain what she did earlier to Ragini on what both people really mean to her, both Vik and Hemanth, then both the characters would be on same level of understanding where things went wrong and of course the decision that Hemanth takes will still be same as the conversations won't impact the outcome but it will bring understanding to the pain and it will perfectly lay a path if they ever will be together in future.
I felt that understanding coming from the conversations make more sense than his self realization...its just an idea man.
now about your point.1 sona still loves hemanth and chose him over vikram, - right now we can't say truthfully about her
sona already knows what she was doing just read the chapter 18 & 19 for the better understanding
Agreed, Sona knows what she was doing and who she preferred in her recent times, but this realization where I meant that she still loves Hemanth and chose him over Vikram in ending things with Vikram is not for her but for Hemanth. Her phone showing Vikram's name is a proof that he doesn't know yet that she broke things with Vikram, If we cannot truthfully say that she loves Hemanth anymore than those conversations are more important.
point.2 still holding to that conversation, Hemant in the hospital do you want the conversation there she tried it and what was the reaction shutdown completely, after at the homecoming she tried to put it again then also the same, the perfect place where the conversation might happens is at the attorney office just read "she wants to say no but....."
man even the character sona is understanding as mention in the chapters that the conversation beyond this will hurt hemnat more are you forgetting the phone call of the vikram at the hospital, what to say
I understand based on what was written the conversation not happening. Hence my comments on how things were taken different direction, the whole episode was obv focus of reactions from Hemant so i get it. I am not debating the way it was written, I was saying it could have been different before the decision of divorce.
point.3 of your is shall not be proceeds further why? because it will destroy the character of the hemant that harry was building from the starting as you are ignoring the episodes and reading selectively you are missing the point of the story, the point.3 is perfect for the old hemant which was Michael king but this is the story of hemnat present not the MK past. Author was continuously trying to build the difference between them both (inside we are same-same, same-same, but different, but still same) if you understand the meaning.
This is precisely my point , the point 3 is for old Hemanth and before he moves on to his new persona, He needs to understand why his old Hemanth did not work out the way he wanted it. Maybe it would have worked with Ragini, the one who always wanted a husband who loves her unconditionally, or maybe it would have worked for Tamannah, the one who always wished they were couple and Hemanth would see her differently from the beginning and not as a friend. All these women would have perfectly worked for old Hemanth, but the Irony that the past that he buried to protect himself and his family is the one that would have worked for Sonarika , the wild side of his which she craved from the beginning and that enlightenment to him would have been better if it comes from the conversations rather than self realization according to me. Also I acknowledge the difference author was showing in two characters and very well written but when one character is dying its important to give sendoff for that character( Old Hemanth) making him understand why it needs to die.
and the conversation one-on-one that you are seeking will come at the right moment and the right situation that we all can expects from Harry to deliver.
Maybe for sure, but nothing wrong in feeling that it would have been better if it was at that moment when worlds turned upside down for him rather than later when he wouldn't have cared. I feel this was the right moment while you all might expect it later. Understand the difference in perspectives..that's all I was asking when I explain again and again.
so as per your maturity i'm expecting you to hold your horse on this, and for anything further i'm open to it.
No need for that, we are free to express our thoughts here and even some might feel it junk, My perspective is truly for Harry nobody else.
Again, I understand and thanks for bringing those points and I won't be raising this topic anymore even if others bring more points. We have had enough discussion and mockery on this already.
Onto next episode now!
