“You know how it is. Some things… need to be kept under wraps for now.”
Ravi chuckled softly, stepping closer to Sirisha,
His hand lightly brushing her arm as he tried to deflect the attention.
“Exactly. But listen, if Vamsi comes home early, all bets are off. He’s definitely not in our circle of trust, you know?”
Sirisha rolled her eyes dramatically “I don't understand why don't we bring Vamsi Bhayya also to our Circle of Trust?”
But couldn’t help the laughter bubbling up inside her.
“So, I can’t know yet? That’s just so unfair!” She crossed her arms,
Sticking out her bottom lip in an exaggerated pout, though her eyes were still sparkling with mischief.
“You two are seriously making me wait? How rude!”
Neetu, still holding back her laughter, leaned toward Sirisha and gave her a soft nudge.
“You’ll get your answers, Siri. Just… a little patience, okay?” She raised an eyebrow playfully.
“You’ve been asking a lot of questions. How about giving us a break for once?”
“Fine,” Sirisha huffed, though her grin was practically bursting through her face.
“But you two owe me big time. You hear me? Big time.”
Ravi chuckled, his smile widening as he looked at her.
“Deal. But remember, no more questions for now, alright? We need to keep some mystery around here. It’s good for the soul.”
Neetu couldn’t help but laugh softly at the playful exchange, thoroughly enjoying the chaos of the morning.
“Alright, alright. Let’s grab some breakfast before anyone else shows up.”
She was trying to keep the mood light, but inside,
Her mind was still racing a little, mostly with the aftermath of what had just happened with Ravi.
The three of them made their way toward the kitchen, with Sirisha quickly helping herself to some juice,
Her curiosity still bubbling just below the surface.
Ravi ate quickly, his eyes often flicking toward Neetu,
His thoughts clearly lingering on the intimacy that had been interrupted so abruptly.
