I dont understand this mentality of some of my readers. If I give an update on Friday late night after spending time till 11 ,attending calls. I get these messages to provide another update by weekend.

If I try to provide an update, then there is a taunt that the update is small and I should give a long updates because it ruins your experience.

If I skip a week, then instead of understanding, there is only taunts that they are disappointed for not having updates that week.

Even my own director isnt this particular about getting his tasks done and he pays me.

I'm not some kind of indentured employee to keep providing everyone some updates whenever they need. I only write because I want to do it as a hobby,not get pressurized by random people that I'm not doing a good job to keep them happy. 

If my wife finds out,she might divorce me ..I'm taking a huge risk writing these and noone is grateful for what I do. Instead they are disappointed that I dont churn out chapters like pulp romance.

Sorry If anyone got hurt by my statements and I dont care if anyone curses me. But I'm not going to take such backhanded comments and taunts anymore. I dont care if I dont get any comments or likes. If this hobby of mine gives pressure then I would just quit writing . 

I just checked my thread in incognito mode after a 5 hr journey and I only find this and as a writer ,no matter how bad he writes, it just spoils their mood.

Why don't you take it as compliment rather than a taunt.. You have been giving regular updates and I have been enjoying your story.. All of a sudden you declared that there will be no update for a few days.. It's natural for anyone who follows a story to feel bad that there will be no update.. Had you not informed that, I would have still waited for the time whenever the update comes and there would have been no sad feelings.. But you informed of no update this week so mu comment was not to taunt you or any kind of complaint but an appreciation that I will wait for the next update whenever it comes.. I or every readers know how difficult is for any writer to write a story and how much dedication it requires to write a story..It is not everybody's cup of tea..
